By reading the books. Android kitchen in a Linux machine would be your easiest route. Unfortunately, it's the same as the commercial release so you will only be inducing fc's.

That's why I didn't bother. That and the fact that I have no need for it. I put this together for myself and just decided to share it.

You can run debian / ubuntu in a virtual machine, but you'll hate it. You're best off running a dual boot machine since all the Sony tools will still require that you have a windows os.

Thanks sir, this is just working perfect!

Having a little trouble with Super SU. Root Explorer cannot gain root access, neither can SuperSU app.

But root ftp server can actually gain root access - until I try to upgrade SuperSU app, then the device reboots and root access is completely gone.

What am I doing wrong?

Changes have been made to OP:

1. AOSP Browser has been added from Australian vodafone build.

2. Deodexed version has been made available.

(Nobody get too excited. These official releases are essentially the same as the commercial release. It's no surprise to me that there are still issues with a couple FC's in the deodexed version. The rom has been deodexed with latest smali/baksmali at api 18. I will not answer any concerns about these FC's if you choose to flash the deodexed build)

Loving the speed of the new firmware, but so far cant get gravitybox, xblast, or most things that.affect the ui to work. Uninstalled and reinstalled, activated.in xposed installer, rebooted, no luck as of yet. However new firmware runs smooth and boots crazy fast, all stock apps and features working splendidly.so far.
some apps that lagged a little in the past (like swiftkey taking its time to pop up) respond better.

You need the xperia xposed framework. The plain one does not work. Search in the xperia threads.
