You have to get xposed then download the app settings module, reboot, then go into xposed and check mark app settings, open, find what you need, set dpi save

Has anyone notice that lock screen shortcut(s) break (they disappear) when using 240dpi instead of 320? Any fix for this?

how do you get active display to work? I turn it on and then what?
Here is what I did.

1. Select security unlocking mode (mine is slide to unlock).
2. Activate Active display (I increase my display timeout to 25sec.
3. Turn the screen off and set the phone down
4. Send yourself a msg email etc. From another phone or computer
5. Enjoy the magic

I read everything on that link. Not the best tutorial. I'm still confused. Did you do this mod? I don't know if I need to flash and use an apk. Or actually mod things.

Yes, you need to download the xposed app install, under framework hit install/update, download the module app settings, install, open download, check app setting, reboot. Open app setting and turn on, set dpi, save

Got it. Thank you. I reread again what you said and in the end it was pretty easy.

Now, how do I remove the 3 dot menu? I know there is a way on other ROMs to add but is it really mandatory using this ROM?

No menu should be default. Under navbar settings you probably have to choose "never show" or something like that.

I must have broke my notifications In the status bar too. I'm getting no gmail, voicemail, matching with friends and more. They just don't pop up. I cleared cache dalvic and fixed permissions even reinstalled apps.

I noticed my VM indicator not working after flashing as well. I tried a dirty and clean flash. I didn't even mess with xposed installer on mine. I made sure it was turned on in the phone settings, then rebooted, still nothing.

I'm up and running running again... it works!

I'm up and running running again... it works!

Okay after a while of being crushed coz I thought I lost my precious Note II for days I finally found a solution and worked:

Problem I encountered: Everything works except I don't have Radio signal (Carrier Signal) it just shows the circle with slash in the middle.

Here's what I did:

#1 Went to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024207, and downloaded Official VRAMC3 4.1.2 5/5/13 (I605VRAMC3_I605VZWAMC3_VZW.zip extracted inside is KIES_HOME_I605VRAMC3_I605VZWAMC3_1098177_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5)
#2 Flashed #1 with Odin
#3 Went to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2272066, and downloaded CASUAL(R515b) No You Verizon! (NoYouVerizon-GalaxyNote2-CASUAL R515.jar)
#4 Run the jar file in #3
#5 Number #4 didn't run as smooth as it is, but after about 2 hours of rebooting and repeating (both phone and pc), it just went through! Booyah! This also installed TWRP 2.5
#6 Downloaded the latest version in page 1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39300172#post39300172), both LiquidSmooth Rom and Gapps, copied both to external SD Card
#7 Rebooted to TWRP 2.5
#8 Installed LiquidSmooth Rom
#9 Installed gApps
#10 Wiped Dalvick Cache
#11 Reboot -- i hanged here
#12 I went back to TWRP and cleared cache and data
#13 Reboot, OMG! It worked like a charm!
#14 I have signal! And I can make calls, and I'm on LTE too! O.O

Thank you and just wanna share my experience and for those who have the same problem as me, I hope the above helps! (Just when i thought I have a Note 2 as a tablet, now I can use it as a phone again!) Thank you all! Now let me look for the donate button, this is a pretty solid rom!

What kind of battery life are people getting. I have had my note 2 for about a week+ now, and I get normally 25-30 hours off charger 6 hours on screen. So far this past charge, I have gotten 1d 12h off charger and 4h 45min on screen with 9% battery left. Is this about what others are getting or am I pretty lucky to achieve these numbers? Fantastic build btw, really enjoying this

Hey guys just downloaded this ROM... love it.. Quick question how do I get the S Note back on?
Also any way to make the MMS sending larger? Tested it and looks like it's a lil blurry

S-Pen is supported in that a stylus is supported. Go to Settings --> Language and input and you'll see some stylus gesture options. For anything else, check out Note Buddy with CM S Pen Add-on. The Samsung S-software is proprietary and only works on TouchWiz ROMs, so you won't find any of it on Liquid.

I brought this up earlier but never got any reply. You could try messing with the custom User Agent string like I did. Or you can try another SMS app like Textra or 8sms. I basically don't send MMS anymore unless I have to, and use Hangouts or Snapchat instead.

Edit: To be fair, I did get a reply suggesting I update to the newest Hangouts that has SMS integration. I haven't tried MMS out on it yet. You might have some success there. If the 2.0 Hangouts hasn't rolled out to you yet, you can download the apk from androidpolice.com.

OK. I have had the same problem with all 3 versions of liquids rom. I can't get my phone to pick up any bluetooth devices. I clicked on viewable by any device and scanned for devices. And still no luck. Anyone have any suggestions.

Just a bump. Not sure what to do to fix it. And I have tried other devices. I was able to connect to a very old Motorola bluetooth device. Just nothing that's newer than 2 years old or so. If I can't find a fix. I'm gonna have to go back to stock.. And I really don't want to...
