  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. This version is built from www.github.com/OmniRom.

What doesn't work:

  • Random reboots
  • Many others

Links:

Installation method:
  • Flash OmniROM.
  • Flash Google apps.
  • Do 'Wipe data/factory reset' in recovery.
  • Reboot & enjoy.

Every custom modification to devices have risks. Flash this at your own risk!

That looks sweet. Tried installing over top of latest Halo Gen. Best I can get to is boot animation. Left it for a good twenty minutes. Phone just gets really hot. I also get a warning while installing with TWRP 2.6.1. It says "warning: no file_contexts.

Any thoughts?

Edit: should have mentioned that I was trying to avoid the wipe data factory reset and I did read the OP.

You can get backlight for the menu and back keys to work using the gravitybox module for the xposed framework.
Simply, install the xposed app and framework then go to downloads and install the gravity box module. Once that's done, go into modules section of the xposed app and check the gravitybox module ( turn it on )
Then, reboot your phone and go into gravitybox app, into display and turn on backlight using the 'button backlight mode'

If anyone is using this ROM as a second or third ROM in rom switcher and you are unable to switch back to your first rom, just Flash perseus kernel and you will boot back to first rom.

BTW, this ROM is super smooth. For me by far the smoothest rom. @Grarak , you reported that perseus kernel is working in AOSP, how do I Flash it in second ROM? I tried flashing it in RS recovery but no luck.
