That sounds great - thank you!!!It still needs to be converted, but I could upload a ROM you could restore as a nandroid with no data... Like a debloated, rooted stock restore.

Furthermore, my only reason for leaving CM11 is to get a Touchwiz ROM to perform a profile update, so if there are any suggestions on a very small, lighweight TW ROM that would work for this purpose, that would be fine too =)Couldn't find anything on the subject...
Coming down from CM11, TWRP installed, wiped system, cache, and dalvik (NOT data because I don't want to lose my photos if possible).
Hangs on Samsung Logo screen.
I've done the wipe / reinstall twice now.
Any ideas?
You need to a Data Wipe/Factory Reset. Wiping data won't delete your photos or anything on your SD. Make sure you make a nandroid backup first.Couldn't find anything on the subject...

I assume "Nandroid" = TWRP backup, which I did.You need to a Data Wipe/Factory Reset. Wiping data won't delete your photos or anything on your SD. Make sure you make a nandroid backup first.

That did the trick, just had to format data. Got the profile updated and I'm back on CM11 for now.I assume "Nandroid" = TWRP backup, which I did.
I'll move the photos to the SD Card and Try again after wiping data.
Just so you know wiping Data only wipes app data not personal dataThat did the trick, just had to format data. Got the profile updated and I'm back on CM11 for now.
Thanks!!
Yeah I was a little confused on that point because there appear to be two different "data" wipe options. I went ahead and just backed everything up to my PC and wiped everything, the whole system, just to be safe.Just so you know wiping Data only wipes app data not personal data

Metalfan upgraded, but this will debloat your ROM to Barebones status-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2742937now that the new kitkat is out ,please make a barebone of it .
Swappa. Save yourself a couple hundred that way.So, I'm back on an s3 for a while until I can get my s5. It was an interesting run on the m8.
Yeah everything has to be redone for KitKat, kinda sucks. What's a warranty? Lol. Swappa is a good idea. I've never used it before. I had to buy an s3 last night and rooted it right away. A lot has changed around here.
Stock's boringYea, looks like it. I'm just hanging with stock for now.
Metalfan staying on stock? Say it ain't so!True, but hopefully I won't even be on the phone for very long
What made you decide on not keeping the m8?There are some really good deals on swappa. I sold my m8 on eBay so I'm just waiting for the funds to clear.
