[ROM][4.4.2][Aosp]Smasher X [5.0.1][MultiView][Pie][APN MOD][01.07.14]

What's the trick for installing Epic8? I am running philZ Adv CWR. I am getting a status7 error, aborted installation.. Smasher installs and runs great. Still seeing the magnetometer & accelerometer errors when opening certain compass apps.. But I'm thinking that is a widespread issue across all 4.4.2 AoSP ro!ms.. :/

On a sidenote Cj... Thanks for the link to Backtrack. Interested in trying this. Had to order a higher powered USB RTL wireless for my notebook that quad boots Backtrack v5 R3 and Windows. Now if I can get Reaver Pro and Xaiopan ported (booting with LiLo also)....... I did see it may not work, but WTH.....

Do not install gapps on 1.2 or higher.
Just wipe and install "ROM" 1.2.

Just wondering about these builds though, the label of the ROM says jfltespr, so you would assume its correct, however, when I flash and get a status 7 error, it shows that its checking for build props for the d2spr (or something) isn't the d2XXXX device the S3? And if that is what we are running into, wouldn't it be bad to flash a ROM that is for a dif device?

Please correct me if I am wrong op

OK don't install until I get a chance to check it out.

I probably put the s3 script in instead of the s4.

Was running on 24 hours no sleep.

So right rom, wrong update script.

Smasher installed great. Never did get the newest Epic to install, but the first Epic did. Nice work regardless... Get some rest, will you...

I'll check out 1.2 again and see what I got because it may have been a bad dl.

Yes, I'm using the sprint S4 and the file was labeled with jfltespr in the name.. All ROMs I've been using for my S4 have been for the jfltespr line of ROMs. I will download the v1.3 and see if they flash

Odd.. It seemed like it was checking to make sure the device was the correct one, and since it wasn't, I got status7

So I got 1.3 flashed but i can't get any of the google apps working, do i need to flash gapps?
also how do you get epic 8 to look like win 8?

Yeah flash gapps for right now.
I had the same issue with the s3, but fixed it.
I'll fix it in next update.

Is it not loading the launcher 8?

The launcher won't load and the settings keep crashing everytime i try to enter them. I flashed the rom then the 1.2 modded Gapps.

Did you try 1.4 without installing gapps.
