[ROM][4.4.2][April 8] SlimKat DLX ((Build 4.1)) -unofficial- Looking For A New Maintainer

Introducing SlimKat DLX

Attention
This is an ongoing project being developed by the SlimRoms team.
As it is an ongoing project, many features have yet to be included yet as they are still being implemented and tested.
I will do my best to keep this rom updated alongside the official releases(maybe even more so(mid-weeklies)) but the rom is not perfect...yet;)
I am not responsible for anything that may occur during the usage of this ROM. You chose to flash it, you take the consequences

IMPORTANT

I may be looking into possibly giving the project over to a new maintainer
please contact me if interested

Q: Where is root access?
A: root access must be enabled through developer settings, which is enabled by tapping "about>build number" 7 times

Runs solid for me. Very smooth and stable. SMS/MMS works great. Camera works. Have not tested calling. I had to install SU and I can't find performance, but that may be by design (not sure).

Love Dark Slim phone and calendar!

i should probably make a FAQ

you have to enable developer settings and then turn root on
when that happens performance comes and superuser is in there by default

ill make an FAQ now

EDIT: no performance options yet

I had already done what you suggested I just can't find performance options. Could be my issue. This build is really solid. Loving it. Great first build.

Perfect. Thanks for that!

Two more questions, I flashed the Photosphere .zip, but can't find the option in the camera. Any tricks to that one?

Second one, any way to map long-press back and longpress recent button to other functions?

Thanks!

I can't help you with photosphere sorry
I included it the op because its on the 4.4 downloads page

And as of now the only way to do so is through an xposed module
Its not yet included in the ROM
It will probably be included sometime soon

Alright will do
Do you know how to indent sections of text without putting a box around them(like it is in the op) nothing I tried worked

EDIT: sources included
i also gave up on indenting and just made the section titles bigger

Just awesome. Everything seems to work well. Can't wait for inverted gapps and remapping. Has anyone tried the crpalmer kernel yet?
