Hi tarts5 I would suggest either Gustavo's kernel if you want a stable one or dorimanx's kernels which are more up to date but in beta testing yet, although I've been using the latest builds without problems. As for stweak settings I would say that they are personal and vary phone to phone. So what is OK for me could not be OK for you. Like I'm using extreme battery profile, undevolt and underclock to have max battery life.

The ROM is so beautiful. Thanks for your afort.
My phone needs to be recharged 3-4 times a day, and it heates up, when I start to recharge it, it takes one hour if it is of,and 8-12 hours if it's on.
Is there any one found the same problem.

Was on Celeriter 2.7, went back to stock based for battery life. Dissapointed, went back to all different KitKat roms, they were good but they werent Celeriter, now probably going back to the best kitkat rom out there - Celeriter. If only the development would continue... :good:

I just updated my Nexus7 to Android 4.4.4. Hopefully we'll get some updates here also.


Does anyone else have problem uploading videos to facebook (mobile app)? I am unable to do so, the videos just keep "processing". It's been happening with 2.6 and 2.7 but not with the earlier versions. FB video upload works great on my Nexus7.

I'm also having camera related crashes in certain apps. Also, my GPS is practically useless. Slow and highly inaccurate, last time I tried it (I'm in Norway if it makes any difference)

This makes me wonder: Has the CM team (or anyone else) made any significant progress with these issues since the february build that this rom is based on?

4.4.2 vs 4.4.4 makes little difference to me, I just want something 4.4.X-based that is fast, stable, simple and customizable without too much unneccessary extras to drain the battery. Celeriter 2.7 is not far off!

Buggy (media scanner drain, google service) but light rom, i suppose this is the best we could have out of this
piece of crap. phone is so ****ty, very bad laggy GPS . Battery consumption, outdated apps - worst samsung device i ever had.

Having two question about the UI :
Can we remove the google search bar ?
tried to freeze the app with Titanium but cannot access launcher anymore after.

And can we get the brightness slider in the notification bar ?
Now all i got is a popup when i tap the brightess icon.

A : slide on the top of the system bar to increase or lower the brightness

Try another launcher, e g. OpenLauncher (Launch applications and manage homescreen) - https://f-droid.org/app/com.benny.openlauncher - or ADW.Launcher (Home screen replacement) - https://f-droid.org/app/org.adw.launcher . They both work well on ROMs like this and are FOSS.
