Installation
Install from STOCK 4.4 OR BASED STOCK 4.4 ROM
- Recovery
- Full wipe (data, cache, dalvik cache, system).
- Install rom.

If you have any issues about network, sensor,.... install kitkat baseband.
F180S, F180K users: if you have unstable mobile network, try F180L baseband.

  • Deleted all F180 stuff
  • Updated to 3.2.03
  • Deleted Bootloader and Loki Recovery (no locked Bootloader after installation) and other files for locked bootloader
  • added all systemfiles from e975 folder
  • added moAB host (adblock host)
  • added Stock KK Kernel for locked Bootloader
  • added FM Radio with G3 UI Icon (G3 Radio worked not for me!) (from artmod 5.4)
  • Added Safety Care, Notebook and LG OSP (you can deinstall it)
  • deleted/forgot to add the thinkfree office app so its not installed...
  • Build.prop Edits:
  • Device is now LG E975 instead of LG F180
  • now maximal 5 Qslide Apps instead of 2

Hey, I think that I found a bug in this ROM... When my screen is on and I press/hold the power button nothing happens, it seems like it doesn't react to it but when my screen is turned off, the power button works but only to wake the device :eek:

EDIT:
After a reboot forced through FreeGee the power button works fine :)

EDIT 2:
Why it says that my device is F180K when I have F180S? :eek:

Clean install, there is so many things that's different between 2 versions.

No problems at all. Rom built from F180 v30b, and I don't want to modify anythings that dangerous.

Judging from the nickname and the avatar, this is your ROM... :) If so, thank you very much! So far, it's been great, and I really enjoy it. :good: Tried VDT (V20 was the first KK ROM I installed, then Sling, then VDT-V21), but went back to Sling. Great experience overall, and I don't seem to have often-reported battery life issues, even with no specific measures like using Greenify, etc.

As for the install over 2.1 (that's my current setup), I was planning to experiment with an update tonight -- my thought is to just wipe cache, dalvik and system, then flash the ROM and the modules from the patch, leaving everything else unchanged. Does this make sense, or do you think not doing the data wipe is just a dumb idea? :) I think (?) it should work, but even if it doesn't, there is nothing to lose with the latest nandroid backup, anyway...

That's an easy fix in build.prop. Had the same issue with Sling 2.1, it was just a bit annoying to see the wrong model, but only took a minute to fix...
