Q: What is MagicMod
A: MagicMod is a custom rom mainly based on aosp , and implements other open source projects' feature. We also make some special features by ourself, we want to make a light-weight, user-friendly,open sourced miui-like rom. Sine it is an open source project, every contribution(maintain new devices, push patches, fix bugs) is appreciated.
Q:Waht's about the update/OTAs
A:Sine we're a small group and don't have enough code related support/money by others, we updated roms about once a week by our home pc.(So don't curious about the rom name like Local-Build-xxxx

). We're making ota support app now( Will come soon).

Factory Reset/Wipe Data
Install ROM
Install Gapps
Reboot
Done
UPDATE FROM Old MagicMod TO NEWER RELEASE
Just download the zip and flash it. You will NOT need to wipe anything.
Note:If U got any strange problems, try wipe first

NO, theme engine is sitll in WIP, we're refactering our app code to make them more MIUI theme compatibility.Also, we may make a theme-covert app later, thus U can covert the MIUI theme by yourself..

Interesting project! Miui theme manager seems to work just fine, awesome. I get lots of screen flickering though, might be kernel related.

Did U flash another kernel? I used this rom as a daily rom on my nexus4. I think it is stable enougth as a daily rom

No, I used the kernel that comes with this rom. Swiping through screens gave me some flickering effects.

Go to any miui site, download the themes then click && install them in FileExplore or put them in SDCARD=> MaigcMod/Theme folder.

great rom. i use from miui theme but just change my icon and wallpaper .its dont inclod my satus bar or message or dialer or freamwork. its a bug?
can i use from cm kernel like hells doctor or hellscore or ... in this rom?

No, we removed the miui theme package compatibility code weeks ago due some bugs. We are making our online theme download app and miui theme convert now.
