Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...:)

Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed! :)
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

@phoenixita: did you know about this?

Moderators Note about MoKee. These ROMs in the past were known for distributing adware/malware. As they claim to be "Open Source" now, you should still be cautious about flashing MoKee ROMs. Currently this ROM is under review by Moderation Staff.

I was bumping into it when I was searching for more info about this ROM... I'm getting suspicious...

More than that, read the whole thread, that in the end was closed by moderators just 3 days ago

Note from Moderation

Ok folks, now that Mokee supposedly has gone "Open Source", we've decided to give them another chance. And this has nothing against the Dev putting the build together.

In the past, Mokee ROMs were not particularly liked, as they contained Adware and Malware apps. Anybody who is familiar with MIUI knows about their sly tricks to get money after you install the ROM (cloud service). Also, Mokee was closed source, which doesn't go well with us.

Now, we are keeping a close eye on Mokee, and at the first incident of anything fishy, they are gone for good.

You guys can flash what you wish, and make the choice yourself. However, if it were me, I'd use a different keyboad app. ;)

It's probably as safe as flashing a MIUI ROM.

Hopefully now they are open source, things will be ok.

I've flashed it also just for testing and yes, it boots and works well (except if you're not installing a dark theme like Thyrus KitKat theme which will bring back the dreaded sistemui FC).

I use Swiftkey keyboard but still I don't trust a dev team that did that before. Just my opinion, anyone can flash anything on their phones ofc

it's smooth. A second chance should be given...could someone tell me the name of the keyboard .apk in other roms? I will create a flashable zip to have it taking it from BeanStalk.

LatinIME.apk is the aosp keyboard. And I have ran ROM since u uploaded. Got to say it is a nice smooth ROM. Has some nice features also. I love the animations when scrolling in a menu. Which the animations are changeable too. Everything worked except for what rapier pointed out. Except I didn't have FC just some elements were not themed when applying a them like the messaging app theme was not correct black on black text but worked. It has some Chinese apps that I deleted with titanium backup cause had no idea what they were. I'll run I for a little while see how it is. But overall stable smooth ROM. Nice job

Oh, I must add one thing. As I was going through the initial wizard, I saw there were alot of languages there. Didn't tested them but maybe someone will be interested in this. There are not so many multilanguage ROMs after all

What about a feature in screen settings, that should fix screen bug after call end? Is it work?
That is not for fixing the backlight bug. The bug happens all the time not only at call end. And no, it does not fix it
