ThinkingBridge project consists of people (around the world now) that want to learn how to do things related to the Android Open Source Project. It's not just a fork that has a few features added in and some themes changed, or a project that just wants to see how many devices can be ported. We've all learned something in the process of porting devices, and creating features, and continue to do so. With contributions from other forks like CyanogenMod and CodeAurora we are able to learn from them and continue even with older devices.
Also, all of the sources can be publicly viewed through Github.​



ThinkingBridge Feature list:


  • Chameleon Engine (Note: http://youtu.be/9UuO5YiZag8)
    - Support statusbar auto change color
    - Support change the color of all the resources available for the Android
    - Support If the statusbar icon is white, you can change the color
    - Support If the statusbar icon is black, you can change the color

    - Support listview on animations


    [*]ThinkingBridge Launcher (Note: http://youtu.be/oAoCA7SwNzo)
    - Support ticking clock
    - Support daily change calendar


Instruction:

1. Update recovery

2. Factory reset (If coming from another rom or stock)

3. Install ROM and Gapps

4. Reboot

Known issues:
  • Panorama mode in built-in camera apps
  • There are no button settings so you can't set button brightness manually. Simple script to put into init.d to disable it:

echo 0  > /sys/devices/platform/button-backlight/leds/button-backlight/brightness
echo 0  > /sys/devices/platform/button-backlight/leds/button-backlight/max_brightness
  • Maybe other things

Changelog of milestone builds:

  • 9 March 2014: Fixed torch, included video recording and QR/barcode scanning fix

This one hasnt got the old CAM blobs yet right?

Edit: looks liks it has ,video rec working perfect.

testing it, i really love that the status bar is following the app colors. also reporting that torch is not working

so far all work excellent rom its incredible fast and i think best battery life so far . i need only clear all recent buton

Have you got any idea how long I waited for this?
I used ThinkingBridge on my HTC Sensation (there was only 1 - ONE!!! release - And it was enough to long for it again!!!!).

Thank you so much for bringing those good times! it's a wonderful rom! Was also the first that brought to the user experience the UI animations (ListView and so on).

With 25% on battery i have 1h 30m onscreen ..... AMAZING brightest 45% wifi alltime on and facebook chat alltime. . WTF please confirm about battery gays . i think is miracle

I don't use Facebook but I just got 2h on screen time, played 2 d game for 1 hour, 15 min web browsing, still 37% battery left. WiFi on most of time and 2g only set. ROM is omni and kernel iodak.

For me is miracle i have 4h 10m onscreen . i have try all roms and kernel all combo my results with stock zabien 3h 20m onscreen with 4.4 only 2h -+30m .:laugh:

Really? That would be a nice side-effect since this still uses grouper blobs and it shouldn't work.

Regarding torch: It needs the same hack that was needed in Omni, will add it back in next build.

    Audio wrappers make it work. The same is included in latest Omni build as well.
