I'm having menu and button issues such as this.....I can't set default apps. And pop up notifications often say the wrong thing in relation to what I know they would normally read as. It's like the file system is all screwed up. Annoying

That's a known issue caused by S5 conversion.
There's the resources.arsc inside the flashable zip which will cause the problem. (in other word it's a localization error)

reinstalled rom and now pen and notification side scroll working, difficult to find anything wrong on this rom, i hope joosh gets to work on a 4.4.4 rom now that note 4 is being released.

I hope I'll get the time to work on it.
Currently I'm pretty busy.

I searched and I couldn't find if pen is available, I really use it and I want to know if action memo and all the stuff is included in the ROM. Thanks,.

What do I do about this?
Do I have to re flash?
As that would be a ball ache.

Can I re flash and not to the s5 conversion, but also not lose my settings and programs?

Root Privileges?

Recently flashed this rom on my N9005 -

Since installing, root access does not seem available, Super Su is up to date but just opens to a blank screen. Try to update the exposed repository but not getting the message to allow root access with Super Su?

Tried a root checker and it says root privileges are not available ?

Anybody know a fix for this as i really want to use this rom, i have never had this problem with another room before.

Please help and thanks in advance




EDIT: Managed to fix the problem myself...took a while tho. Is this project now abandoned??

Well there are a lot of roms available right now and every rom does good what it's meant for. I personally use Darklords S6 beta v2 but i used his note 4 port. But everyone how he likes,if you want a Note 3 rom then you can go with Aryamod.

I installed this ROM but it blocked my device! After it booted up i enter my gmail like usual but then comes a samsung screen that says "this device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset..."

I have never made a samsung account and never had this problem when i installed different custom roms??

Did you buy your device second hand or new? If you bought it second hand, you have to enter the account from the previous owner. Or delete 2 apk files from the ROM before flashing. I believe it was setupwizzard apk or something like that.). There are some other tricks to bypass it. Just google it. Good luck.

No it was always my phone. I could now fix it by registering a samsung account with my computer and enter it on the phone. Very strange...

But now i have problems with the ROM itself. When i try to install Xposed Framework this app always crashes: com.ficeto.customsettings

Everything inside the "Ultimate Rom Tools" section produces this crash.
