Make sure you check "apply on boot" as well. That way the governor setting is applied whenever you reboot your phone.

The change should take effect immediately, but you can reboot if you want just to make sure (after checking "apply on boot" obviously)

Sorry but i am still lost.
I change governor, check apply on boot, restart device and still cannot find the place to change:

2) increase SD card read ahead value to a minimum of 1024 KB.

There isn't a setting in android to change the SD read ahead. To change the read-ahead values, you have two options:

1) Hard version:
manually change some scripts following the instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010807

2) Easy version:
download an app from the play store to do it for you. Some apps that can do this are SD booster, SD speed increase, and trickster mod.

Ok i will try with apps, trickster mod i already installed but cant find there "how" - anyway - i will handle that by my own. Thanks for help.

ps. Last question is - why i change governor when i need to change sd parameters somware else?

I can't use the car kit because after about 2 calls the phone will hang and even if I reboot it I'll have to wait 20 minutes before service is back, other than that great ROM, stable and good battery life.

this is what I used for my N7100 (GSM None-LTE), works perfectly, no FC's, no crashes, good battery life (No Guarantee )

Install TWRP recovery, you can use others, but this one worked great for me and supports CM11 OTA upgrades with no issues, get it from here:

*** If you are coming from a different ROM, I'd recommend wiping all data and formatting the system partition (you can try without first but if you get FC's than you'll probably need to do it and install again)

You can download the latest nightly from here:

If you have modem issues after install and you get no reception, try installing a patched MJ9 modem which you can download from here:

Thanks a lot for this rom!! I'va install it on my N2 with the last relezse 2014-01-16. when my phone is off and charging and i want to stop charging.. I have the grey battery image. I have to remove the battery and boot my phone.
Not very impactant. Im going to read all the topic for this issue.

1. Camera app freezing with error and then you cannot turn camera on again, only message like "cannot connect to camera" - restart is necessary. It happen ALWAYS after few shots (in my case other ROMS like Omni & SOKP also have this issue). The biggest problem - making camera useless :/.

2. After booting up device, first call have "broken" voice in speaker, very distorted. Just with second call everything back to normal. It happen ALWAYS after restart device.

3. Sometimes widget list are freezing and launcher close it with error. Looks like it happen when something new going to that list - after few atempts and errors it start to working fine.

This morning my auto brightness is stuck at 6 lux and will not adjust itself automatically. After a reboot it works. I am using the nightly from 20140614. I did not want to report on a bug if it was a "quirk" on my phone only. I did a couple quick searches about this phenomenon, but no luck. Anyone else having auto brightness adjustment issues? In the past I have used the app LUX and it works great.

During the time i found one app called Restart Camera. It runs in background and from some time till now i havent got any connection problem. There are still some freezing but after that camera backbto work without restarting device.

I'm on 0622 and it's 4.4.4, so I assume the 0628 update would be as well.

If you were hoping for android L (5.0), it hasn't been announced yet by cyanogenmod.
