Is there anything that can be done about the MIP 67 message?

(posted where it should have been... The Q&A thread. I can't delete this post. )

A few times, I've tried flashing this over stock rooted ZVE after wiping, and it seems like every time I'll get all sorts of force close messages when the ROM starts up. I can never get to the launcher either. I've tried wiping, reflashing, and rebooting, but I can't seem to get a "good" install.

Is there some better way to switch to this from stock ZVE?

Thanks!

After flashing this I cannot boot into recovery. I do not have root. Super SU is there but says there's no su binary.

Modem is still zvd. I'd really like to try another rom but seems that this is the last rom you'll need because no way to flash a different one! :(

Hello. In the first couple post there is a root restore zip. Flash it. The combination for getting into recovery is complicated at first. I know exactly what your going thru. Power off wait. and then hold down power and the down key once you see the first boot screen within a few seconds it will say recovery. If at first it continues to boot normally try again, it will eventually pop into recovery. Be sure to have that zip handy to flash it

Can't get into recovery

I still can't get into recovery. If I boot with the vol down pressed it'll boot into safe mode. The su seems to be a simlink. I thought maybe I could boot into recovery by using adb but device offline. At my wits end here. Any ideas folks?

Have you tried an app like Quick Reboot (root)?

So I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about the hotspot hack that I had figured out myself that does not require a reboot everytime you get a no internet connection with the yellow triangle when trying to connect. Basically when you turn your hotspot on, it may or may not give the yellow triangle saying you have no connection. In my case, the first time I installed this rom early this morning this was the case. In most cases all you have to do is go to System Settings>Roaming>Access Point Names and click the little button, it may deselect it, keep checking it until it sticks and your connection goes through. If this does not work actually select the APN and go back and reselect it. Most cases this fixes the issue, very rarely should you have to reboot your phone from now on!

I had rooted this rom with stump root and within the past week somehow lost root but stump root still says rooted, i need to run titanium backup to kill the update notification but i don't have root. Anyone have any input for this issue? I don't know how I lost root but this notification is driving me insane and also messed with my WiFi tethering

Glad to see this rom still being used as of today. Sorry ive been goving no support but as i stated my G2 broke and now i'm onto the Note 4. Once i get my laptop back from being fixed i'll be developing something nice over at the Note 4 forums. Secret.animal was a great help and played a big role in helping me with this rom and for that i thank him.

    • Reboot To Recovery
    • Wipe Data & Factory Reset
    • Install Afflication Rom
    • Enjoy :)

    After Install: (Recommended)
    • Please allow some time to boot up after intial boot, you may receive a black screen after second logo, that is fine.
    • Recommended to wait five minutes on intial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
    • Go to settings then System Updates, then update your PRL and Profile to get data working properly. (If LTE isn't showing up)
    • To get back Developer Options go in to settings, About phone, choose Software information and rapidly tap Build number until it says your a developer.

    Notes:
    • If knock code does not work on initial set up, go in to settings choose gestures and turn off knockon. Reboot the device and go back to same area and turn it back on, reboot one last time and should work properly.
    • To get the Mobile Hotspot hack to work properly please Update Profile under System updates in settings.
    • If you install custom init.d tweaks you must enable the init.d option through the STweaks app by scrolling over to the Other tab and down to Init.d and select enable then reboot. (If using Dorimax Kernal)

Disclaimer: I do not and will not take any responsibility towards anything that happens to your phone after flashing.
