Glad to see this rom still being used as of today. Sorry ive been goving no support but as i stated my G2 broke and now i'm onto the Note 4. Once i get my laptop back from being fixed i'll be developing something nice over at the Note 4 forums. Secret.animal was a great help and played a big role in helping me with this rom and for that i thank him.

From what i can read here youve done a great Job! im doing a favor for a friend his phone is on ZVE, just rooted with stump and installed TWRP im about to install this rom to try to get rid of the "Sprint Spark" issue that removes me from LTE service. Anything special i should do before?

Just keep a copy of supersu on your phone, i was never able to come around to fix the issue where you may lose root after flashing.

Seeing that G2 development has essentially died being that the G3 has been out and the G4 comes out in two days, I've decided to go flash happy on my beloved G2.
About to flash this ROM as it seems pretty cool.
Here's where I am right now.
I have a full nandroid backup via TWRP 2.8.6.1 (other than cache), which has my modem backed up as well, but I also carry SuperG2, the ZVC modem, and the ZVC firmware zips in storage in case s*** hits the fan.
I have TWRP 2.8.6.1 (latest)
I am on SuperG2 Milestone 1, ZVC radio/modem and firmware. I have downloaded the dorimanx 10.3 kernal WITH knock code support, and the ROM itself. I can't seem to find a flashable ZVD radio/modem, nor the flashable ZVD firmware. Can anyone post links for what I am missing please?

You wont need it if you are backed up. If you are trying to use this ROM just flash boot go back to recovery and flash supersu to get back root and your good to go.

Isn't your ROM pre-rooted?

Also, if I'm on ZVC and this ROM is ZVD, what is even the difference between the two firmwares and modems? Also, can i flash dorimanx 10.3 in the same session as the ROM itself?

Yes, but there is an issue I never got to fix because I had to stop development on this ROM due to note having the G2 anymore. The issue the most people are having is there losing root after flash, but just flash SuperSU like I said and you'll be back to root.

It's the latest deodexed KK rom that I can find (haven't found any deodexed ZVE rom yet), but unfortunately I have the "wifi being off at each boot" issue as reported by others before.

folks, I am thinking about moving from stock to this ROM. Have to mention that currently I am running stock ZVC with unlocked carrier to be able to use it here (Slovakia) with GSM. My problem is that when traveling abroad roaming doesn't work. Does anyone knows whether moving to this ROM would solve my problem with connection outside of Slovakia (by still using SVK sim card ) ?
thank you

    • Download
    • Move To External
    • Reboot To Recovery
    • Wipe Data & Factory Reset
    • Install Afflication Rom
    • Enjoy :)

    After Install: (Recommended)
    • Please allow some time to boot up after intial boot, you may receive a black screen after second logo, that is fine.
    • Recommended to wait five minutes on intial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
    • Go to settings then System Updates, then update your PRL and Profile to get data working properly. (If LTE isn't showing up)
    • To get back Developer Options go in to settings, About phone, choose Software information and rapidly tap Build number until it says your a developer.

    Notes:
    • If knock code does not work on initial set up, go in to settings choose gestures and turn off knockon. Reboot the device and go back to same area and turn it back on, reboot one last time and should work properly.
    • To get the Mobile Hotspot hack to work properly please Update Profile under System updates in settings.
    • If you install custom init.d tweaks you must enable the init.d option through the STweaks app by scrolling over to the Other tab and down to Init.d and select enable then reboot. (If using Dorimax Kernal)

Disclaimer: I do not and will not take any responsibility towards anything that happens to your phone after flashing.
