I'm building a clean build right now, so I'll share the link after some initial testing.

Worth noticing:
- I can't start the search right after I've booted.
- I get a warning about not connecting to the carrier if I select something else then my regular carrier after I've booted, but it goes away shortly after.


Could someone please test this and reply if it works or not?

I couldn't get it to boot. Dirty flash over 01/29. Error about no root and then hang at HTC logo.

Meh...I'd like to try a newer radio, but other than that, it's a minor inconvenience. I tried that firewater root twice and both times, it didn't do squat, so I think I'm done bothering with it.

Have you tried Moonshine S-Off? It worked fine for my phone, you just have to be patient.

Battery is still might be better. I have an 11% drain over night.

So, Trebuchet is now a launcher option with the latest nightly. Honestly, I don't get what's so great about it. I like the Google Experience Launcher. Will anyone start using Trebuchet now?

Just one more non-ROM CM app to replace with a better alternative. I prefer nova launcher

Historically seen (yeah...) trebuchet was quite innovative the first time it appeared. And many coders of actual launchers (Apex, Nova, Holo, etc.) 'incorporated' its ideas. But there was no futher development and one day even the link to trebuchets homepage was gone. But maybe somebody took over its code for future development and now its back. Whatever...

I only really get that when trying to install an app that replaces a system app, like the Google keyboard over AOSP

Yup, USB PROXY Rx appears to be missing... I'll look at it.

So, as a workaround I built myself a kernel with accessory detection disabled. I can boot the zImage just fine, but i can't flash it with fastboot flash zimage (permission denied)

I also tried to build a boot.img, using the current nightly as a base for unmkbootimg and mkbootimg

mkbootimg --kernel arc/arm/boot/zImage --ramdisk initramfs.cpio.gz --base 0x80400000 --cmdline 'console=ttyHSL0,115200,n8 androidboot.hardware=qcom' -o new_boot.img

unfortunately, this just leads to a boot loop any advice?

Yep - there could be a repo update available. Try:

$ repo selfupdate

or redownload and make executable:

$ curl http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo

ooops - nearly forgot: change into the right directory first (change if necessary):

$ cd ~/android/system/

I actually upgraded it some days ago, but to be safe I ran a diff on the newest and the one I'm using.
