Ok cool. So yea make sure you format system when you do your wipe an try again. Should be good to go

Hmm..did you format system when you wiped? @jackal2001 just installed fresh and didn't say anything about this problem. IF so let me know and I'll change the link back to my original gapps package

I used Mr Cook's ROM wipe before, should I do a manual wipe? I was just installing my regular apps when I got a message it was full. Gapps I used with omni failed when I tried. They have all been versions of PA. I show like 352mb used by apps. I think I DL the first version that was up and then the second one posted. I know this is old issue and its just a matter of finding right gapps and holding my face right. ROM seems to perform well. No reboots or fc. Data is good. I can't get dolphin to sign in and sync my bookmarks but that's not a rom thing.

I would manual. Scripts are handy but I do everything manually. The gapps should be like pa micro modular 4.4.3 and like 90mb I think. I think that happens when it's just a weird install or something. I've had it with gapps I've used 50 times prior before out of nowhere. Rom and gapps shouldn't even fine close to taking up half of system partition unless it's TW based

If you wait just a bit I have a new build to upload that has linaro in the kernel. Tons of changes from cm so went ahead and built again today

Ok, new build is up which has linaro 4.7 and gcc 4.7.4 optimizations. They are standard at the moment but it's at least a start. Enjoy and report. Dirty flash should still be fine but if it's not do clean before reporting any issues please. THANKS

LOL I flash everyday and I'm good lol. Batteries only get so many charges and even less with the low capacity one that comes with the s2. It's really unfortunate that an although old but pretty fantastic phone has such a petty issue. Battery life is not great even with new unless you change your settings

I did manual wipe and ran Mr Cook's wipe reinstalled with pa modular micro ggapps and everything is now fine. I have 1.5 gig left after installing all my regular apps. Even dolphin sync signed in. Thanks.

Man, a lot has changed since I last ited this section. Do many new Roms. I will be sure to try this out soon on my S2. Currently rocking the Oppo Find 7a and loving it.

Had a 9% battery loss last night for 9.5hours. Bluetooth was on, GPS off, wifi set to never on while in sleep. Looking good now.
I think the record is about 3% for 10hrs and I can't even remember what rom that was. Probably back in the 4.2.x days.

Hopefully there will be more settings in the future. Right now I can't change the video record or picture mode to a specific quality. Anyway, thanks for keeping the GS2 alive.

Do you have sound search from Google play installed? I've never had it not work on a ROM. Granted, i don't use it that much though...

If it's working for everyone else and not you it's not a rom issue. Besides his build setup and tweaks etc etc everything comes from cm. His will be no different and if it is it will be pure coincidence

That's what I've been trying to find out. I keep asking in his thread if anyone else is having trouble with it, but no one ever answers. If I find that others aren't, my next step is a wipe.
