Hello everyone!! It's my first post here in this thread and usually i dont post stuff but the latest 20140118 build is trully amazing and super stable for over 20 hours that i've used it and i have to say, battery life is amazing! After 20h and 25m the phone's at 70% ! I have voice calls of 1h and 26m,
Screen Time on 48m , and Rocket Player(music player) at 1h and 15m ! Also no wakelocks detected so far! I was on the 20140111 build before that and had the hot reboot bug, random reboots, fcs when accessing certain folders in my extSDcard, couldnt install BBS as system app with ART and battery life was 20h in total but now all of them are gone :victory:! Thanks @fusionjack for this awesome ROM :good:! I will report if anything strange comes up. Keep up the good work !!!

I forgot to mention that used governor/IO scheduler here is pegasusq/row and the result is amazing so far .Btw i want to make a suggestion for anyone that has the ability to do it, i think we need some inverted GApps (for example blacked out Play Store) coz white is eating up a lot of battery. I've tried flashing inverted GApps from Asylum Omni 4.4.2 but got into bootloop. Also i want to ask about CABC Content Adaptive Backlight Control. Does it really save battery even if i have brightness down to 0 or should i turn this off? Sorry bout all these questions n stuff i just wanted to let u know guys! Thanks in advance!

only internal storage should be seen in pc under ums mode...at least for me.

the most of the raw kernel changes (the important ones) have been merged in the slimroms/slimsaber github. this means that the kernel that is included in this rom, has raw kernel changes.
afaik, based on the latest state that i knew, raw kernel has problem with installing app to sdcard. not sure if this already been fixed.

Just flashed as per your instructions. It's pretty late and maybe my googling skills are down at the moment, but I can't figure out why my 64Gb extSDcard isn't visible at all? The RAW kernel can see it, in fact flashed from it, but it's invisible in the ROM. If I browse to mnt/extSDcard I see a folder with nothing in it.Slowly we are getting back SlimBean features. if you have sandisk sdcard, afaik it is formatted with exfat which is not supported in this rom. you need to format it to fat32 or other format.
some people prefer format it on pc, some people prefer format it on device, you need to search which one is the best. i don't have 64 GB sdcard, so can't say much.
@fusionjack do you remove the reboot thingy which lets you choose to reboot to Bootloader, Recovery, Download? Because its gone on the last two builds..

First of all - this ROM is amazing, the best battery life I ever seen, fast, smooth.... In short words I'm very satisfied with it. The only issue I've faced so far is scheduled backups of the Titanium Backup. I scheduled it to run twice a week at 2AM and to backup new/changed data and it happened already 3 times that on the morning I find my phone turned off with battery drained to 0%. The analysis shows that the Titanium Backup and some other application (each time it differs - Evernote, AlReader) were main consumers and each took about 50% of remaining battery life. When I run TB manually I see that it gets to approx. 10% of the backup and is not able to progress anymore.
Is this issue well-known? Is there any solution for it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When using headphones, the sound is garbled/muffled when using the genuine Samsung headset but fine when using "normal" headphones.

Thanks mate, that did it. But the SuperSu app is installed in app drawer unlike the one which was integrated to the ROM.
Thing is, what will happen If i flash a new Saber build? I think i'll be pulled back to slim kernel again. Will this be a problem for the SuperSu app?

Could be headset issue.. My genuine samsung headset is super fine, and where did this problem occur, when listening to music or calling ?
Just flashed the 0120 version. and now, after 10 mins. it's still stock on the boot animation "SlimSaber"...
Even i tried to wipe cache/davik, flashed the ROM and then reboot again, it's still the same...
But it seems every one got no this issue... Any help???

Since this is not Delta or small OTA package with patches but is a full package so dirty flash is not welcome here. Even a clean flash never ensure the phone would boot tho, not mention that dirty flash. And to our question, why a dirty flash didn't work? Damn, it didn't work means it didn't work, that's all. I think that is one of the most stupid question tho (no offense, or is it? :/) lol. I mean unless you have some log, even Jesus can't guess what was wrong lmao.
