I miss the option to reboot in recoveryyou mean to configure power button menu? settings - navigation - global menu. you can even put your favorite app in the menu.

it has been mentioned in the release post a few weeks ago...you can find in settings - security - advanced reboot.
You have to activate it (or re activate) in settings > security > Advanced reboot
How do we get the SMS to MMS conversion disabled without using Xposed?

SMS to MMS conversion issue
... As and when the SMS characters go above 160 it converts to MMS and hence asked.. Could be that there is something that I am missing here..!! :silly:

ROM is awesome..!!! Great battery lyf.. Worth trying and keeping as daily driver.. @fusionjack has done his best...!!!! :good:
Because I'm using Asylom rom and my think my battery life is about 1 day without very much using my deviceno drain...

Is it just me, or the animation when going to recent apps is kinda broken when using hardware keys since hardware key remapping was merged? (There's no issue when the navigation bar is used to go to recent apps)
Here's how to reproduce it:
1- Open random app 1.
2- Press home button.
3- Open random app 2.
4- Long press home button (or whatever hardware button custom action you use for going to recent apps)
The animation that kinda shrinks the current app for going to recent apps shows a screenshot from random app 1, while the current app was random app 2. The screenshots are fine after the animation ends. The problem is during the animation.
Another way to reproduce the bug is the following:
1- Open random app 1.
2- Press home button.
3- Long press home button (or whatever hardware button custom action you use for going to recent apps)
There shouldn't be a shrinking animation since the current app is the launcher and launchers aren't supposed to appear in recent apps, but you will see a shrinking animation for random app 1.
I actually tried a clean flash (wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, system) just to make sure all these dirty flashes aren't the cause. The first thing I did after flashing was doing the stuff I said above, and the issue persisted.
I've tried to provide everything I could think of, I hope it's enough

hi. iv been on a tw based rom since i first got my note 2 years ago lol. but i am really bored of tw. from what iv seen slimsaber rom is the best aosp cm rom out. i just want to know what do i loose going from touchwiz to slimsaber? like i know i will loose spen functionality. but what else is not there that is there on touchwiz? i am currently on arya rom v3. also do themes work in the rom using hk theme manager? sorry for all the questions.

lastly.
when i normally switch to another touchwiz rom i use superbackup app to backup my messages,contacts. now when restoring between touxhwiz roms there is no problem. however as this is a different type of rom will the restoring of messages and contacts work fine or will it cause fc and hangs? if so can anyone recommend another type of app i can use that wont cause issues when restoring to this rom from tw rom. thanks all.

I have a huge battery drain with the last build, coming from 01/20 rom. I tracked it down and while single core is running, it runs at 800mhz minimum even in sleep. Maybe i should do a clean install but i dont want to lose my data so i will go back to 01/20 version.
UPDATE: done a clean install and problem still persists. I think there is a problem with this build so I will wait for next build for kill apps button

you can use SMSBackupRestore and its addon for backingup sms.
I never backup contacts as I rely on our faithful Google's inbuilt contact sync to Gmail.
for restoring apps I use goBackup (i backup to internal memory as it sometimes have issues with detecting external memory symb links)
and as far as batterylife is concerned, its way way better than TW 4.1.2

the clear all button is at last merged (was waiting a long time for this one )
but one thing I've noticed is that the long press on the clear all button does not clear the cache memory as it was in the jellybean builds, so why is that?
Also the annoying copying to the external SD card issue is still there and I've been trying every possible way to fix it with no luck. any suggestions ?

try to change i/o scheduler. check also whether your storage is corrupted or not.

I had a problem connecting phone to car bluetooth. It connects sucessfull, but when bluetooth car tries to Access to phone contacts, phone shows a message asking permission for this, as others rom do. I accept, but car can not read contacts and obvisouly I can't select a contact and also names are not shown on car screen.
Others rom Works perfectly. I thinks it could be a kikat security problem. Is is posible?
Any ideas?
