[ROM][4.4.4][10/21] SlimSaber - n7000

I have been using the latest build since 14th feb. and today I had a system halt when i was browsing the internet. I had to pull out the battery and reinsert to start the phone again. And when the phone booted, i had lost 20% battery. I cannot recreate the problem though.

I have reinstalled wiped everything exsd and sd through twrp. But it's still freezing in copy process. I wait new build and try again. Other than this ROM is perfect.

Can I change mnt/media_rw permission from 700 to 770 permanently. Its automatically changing permission back to 700 in each reboot which insufficient for Gobackup to perform.

Maybe there is something wrong with me, I don't know... Today I have tried latest Asylum - AMAZING! I have tried latest SlimSaberKat - AWESOME! And then I went back to older SlimSaber. All these options, possibilities of configuration and stuff makes KK roms simply not attractive to me. So, Fusionjack, I'm still holding to your older masterpiece and thank you for it. This is the best ROM I have ever flashed and I have it longer on my Note than ten previous ROMS all together

If it goes like that, I will stay on 4.3.1 forever xD

I applied storage fix in terminal.

su
fsck_msdos -p -y /dev/block/vold/259:3
fsck_msdos -p -y /dev/block/vold/179:9

Result; I able to copy 1.84 gb gobackup folder (loads of files in it) from sd to sd which i wasn't able to copy before.

Error fixed;

But this could be temporary fix because sd is creating errors again I think this is the bug randomly creating file errors in sd card which has to be solved.

As you noticed, last night I released a new build through SlimCenter.

SlimSaber-n7000-4.4.2-20140217.zip

Changes:

• Synced with official stable 3.
• Updated to Android 4.4.2_r2 KVT49L.
• Revert partial of sdcard config update.
  Since build 02/12 we have an sdcard config update which is also being reviewed by OmniRom. The changes were done in two part, in a simple form: rom and kernel. Andrew said the kernel part is wrong. That's why I revert it.
• SDCard: direct I/O file access fix.
  A brand new update from AOSP concerning sdcard.
• Kernel: Back to the old gpu steps.
  Last week I went through the kernel changes and tried to synced with OmniRom and SlimRoms. It looks like using the default gpu 2-steps uses more battery when screen is on.
  Now I reverted back all synced changes and we have the state like last 2 months.
• See changelog for the rest of changes.

For the one who has music player stop bug, try again with this build. If you want start clean, do a full wipe, wipe internal storage and copy your media files on pc.
Btw, there is a new Slim Gapps with TRDS support.

i think the file transferring problem was caused by partition corruption. now is the question why the partition is corrupted.
anyway, try the new build. there is sdcard changes.

music player stop bug is an issue, media storage going haywire is another issue. Any fix on that on the latest build?

don't change the permission on media_rw. the app must support kitkat and use another path
/storage/sdcard1.
i'll leave the old kernel settings.

@fusionjack is it possible for you to port custom lockscreen wallpaper (separate from homescreen) from 4.3? Or are you planning to wait until it's reimplemented in official SlimKat? It's probably the only feature I miss from 4.3.

I've got a small issue with SlimSaber 4.3.1 with latest 20131205 build. Recently I have made a completely clean install, but now sometimes my phone instead of going to sleep, turns off instead. It happens when I short-press power button and also when I leave it to go sleep itself after 2 minutes of staying idle. Anyone know what I made have messed up?
