Im running 21-11-2013 build last two days without any issues. Smooth and Battery friendly.:good:

Hi fusionjack, i found that when connecting to mass storage mode with usb, it only mounts external storage but not internal storage. Is this a known problem? I only can access internal storage via MTP mode but transfer speed is very slow.

last time i tried both storages are mounted in pc. you can try to use airdroid or adb. i got transfer speed 4mb/s with adb.

No shut downs but phone 'soft' reboots after uninstalling some applications

why do soo many guys try to flash CM/AOSP based ROM directly from PHIL'S???

IF they are on Phil's they already should know two major category of Kernels
1. Stock
2. CM/AOSP based

aren't they lucky of not bricking? (thank goodness ICS era has passed :good: else they would have ...)

The OP needs something like this:

• Full wipe: data, cache, dalvik cache.
• Mount system and Format system partition manually.
• Flash CM Kernel (link)
• Reboot back to Recovery (do not just reboot as there is no ROM installed)
• Flash the unofficial build.
• Flash gapps from here. Better use the Slim_minimal_gapps.4.3 for now.
• Refers to http://slimroms.net for more installing instruction.

Sorry for the delay of the release. I have been busy these few days.
The changes are minimal since almost all custom roms are focusing for kitkat release. I switched back to compile the kernel with SaberMod toolchain 4.7. I just feel it is better to use this toolchain and I found it has better battery life compared to Linaro. I don't notice performance loss with SaberMod toolchain either.

* Kernel: Compiled back using the old loving SaberMod toolchain 4.7.
* Some updates in webkit, theme manager, framework av and native.
* See changelog for the rest changes.

Downloaded, flashed, modded, RAW kennel added... Working flawlessly, as always Also feels much faster and more responsive than previous build I love it so much <3

After few days (v 20131121), I must say that this ROM is awesome! Thanks fusionjack and Slimbean Dev !

+ No FC since the beginning (never seen on any ROM)
+ battery life look very good, but it will take more time to decide
+ no lag, very responsive
+ Very fast Boot
+ Using limited internal storage / memory (ROM Slim!)
- HDMI does not work (unfortunately like all non samsung ROMS, it seems!)

Will try new 20131127 release...

slimsaber bootanimation...

since i made the official bootanimation for slimkat,
i decided to create similar one for our slimsaber roms...

also available in other holo colors (green, orange, purple, red) plus white

rename the file you downloaded into bootanimation.zip and put it in your /system/media

you may want to rename existing one so you have a backup of the original bootanimation before replacing with the new one

caution:
it might drain your battery if you keep on rebooting your phone all the time just to see the bootanimation
