One bug i have is with camera.
I have ~2000 pictures. If i start camera and try to swype to the left to open gallery, it doesnt work. The gallery is loading forever and after ~14 seconds i am able to open it. I dont know if its because i have so many photos, but maybe.

I have a bug here. I did a dirty flash over previous slimkat, on reboot I looked for Google play store and it was absent.
I had a titanium backup image of play store, restored it and it went like normal.
When I tried to download an app, it force closed and now I can't download or update anything inside store.

Is play store contained inside gapps or the rom itself? And why it suddenly disappeared?

Play Store is in the gapps,just reflash them.

As i said before, replacing the camera that comes with slimkat with the Motorola cam from jbx kernel changed the entire behavior of the Rom. Give it a try.
I am back to battery results from JB. After two days I have 45% left. Yeah. Btw I use power guard and ds battery saver.

Are you using the stock Motorola camera, or the Motorola X camera? The stock one doesn't let you save photos to external SD...

Of course stock slimkat cam lets me save to SD card.
I think the loading is so slow because all that pics are on SD card and those phone card readers are slow like hell, just too much for this poor piece of Hardware.
I was dissppointed in moto X camera months ago (i used it) so i went back to the slim cam.
Btw. The camera flash is bugged sometimes. This bug is old. I think it is caused by hardcoded Motorola drivers....

What really helped was to delete the camera.apk and install the Motorola cam from the jbx kernel ZIP.
Battery drain dropped by almost 50%. No more lags. No more black screen delay on wakeup.

I still can't believe how smooth and snappy my phone got, simply by installing the MotoX Camera apk. I did nothing but install it and now I've got a brand new phone. :) Thank you so much!

MMS seems to work in 7.6

For some reason MMS stopped working with build 6.2 even with hangouts. I could receive MMS but couldn't send MMS. I updated to version 7.6 and MMS seems to work with slim messaging app. Not being able to send pics via MMS was a real pain. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't stop working this time.

    New SlimKat pre-alpha test builds uploaded for spyder and umts_spyder. (All of my 4.4 test builds will be uploaded here)
    Grab the proper 4.4 Gapps, install on a non-main system with BMM or SS, and let me know how it goes...
