Re-download the kernel zip files. You might have had some data loss. I'm using raw kernel with the latest nightly. Everything is fine.

To switch from stock, first flash philz kernel. Then flash this rom. Then flash latest raw r9 kernel for cm11.

I always get status 7 error while flashing CM11 in Philz!

In that case flash the raw r9 kernel after philz. Reboot recovery, and then flash cm11 rom. if you want to use raw r9 kernel you have to flash the kernel again afterwards.

Stock kernel do not have trim capabilities. For that you have to either flash Forest KK or Raw T9

Well, if the custom kernel supports the ROM, mostly of the times it is much better than stock one since it should be really improved, and with extra features. Also using most of custom kernels allow you to choose different governors that are not available in stock kernel and the before mentioned features as DoubleTapToWake, better and updated drivers, etc...

But if there are errors you will have to ask the custom kernel developer to fix them.

Do this: http://beta.download.cyanogenmod.org/install
and then flash CM11 ..easiest way out without any hassle ..

I didn't change my theme a long time. Now I tried the https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.giuros77.onel.grey
and system UI crashed. Had to reflash a backup to get it up and running again. Anyone willing to give it a try? Btw. Latest mightily. Cm11

N7000 Dead

My N7000 died after the last reboot. Hope it hasn't to do with Cyanogenmod. Was on latest nightly. Had some freezes. Did uninstall a nonworking app. Normal userapp. Nothing systemrelated.
Wanted to reboot, but Phone never woke up again. Black screen forever. Nothing I can do. Tried everything. I'm waiting now for my new Galaxy S5. Hope it lasts at least as long as my beloved N7000 did....

I am trying to switch it but still show's me dalvik. Even after wipe cashes and uninstall xposed.

uninstall xposed framework first. then art will run.

I'm on 04.19 nightly and I'm having theme uninstalling problem. Phone goes soft reboot when uninstalling themes. Some times uninstalling with no problem but sometimes soft rebooting itself. No problem with other programs uninstallation.

i m on stock4.1.x i have rooted my phone now which cwm to flash ? and is there any relationship between my kernel and cwm? i mean shall i have to flash different types of cwm for different fone of note n7000 ?
