Thanks guys! Stupid samsung app might be inaccurate. I'll try using Antutu. The problem I'm having just came back after several weeks. It has to do with random sound popping like a gunfire and infrequent reboots which I can live with. I was curious since the samsung app told me I was on 2000 mhz cpu and thought maybe my cpu was overworking except I had low benchmark. Then for the first time, the screen stayed on and didn't automatically turn off. All in all though, it is running more smoothly with less problems than when it was on MJ4 bootloader.
I'm glad we could help. Yeah I wouldn't worry about it, it's the app. I don't know about the sounds, but are you on agni? You might need to adjust some of the settings (because it would affect the sound/speaker quality AND the reboots issue.) There was also a recent update to the kernel, I don't know if you knew that, you could try it. Good luck!

There is a common misconception on XDA amongst many developers and users alike that "benchmarks" are useless.

With all due respect, I disagree completely with such statements. Benchmarking is perfect for stability tests, battery life tests, performance testing, and overclocking capabilities.

First of all go to Google Play Store... Antutu version 5 has been released, so you should have an update out.

Revert everything in AGNI back to default... Turn off Touch-boost though, and post a picture of your score with Antutu 5. One thing to remember with overclocking; every "CPU" chip performs differently.

Don't get too excited when you get a higher score in Antutu 5 (as the new update adds a couple of new tests that add up to an extra 2000+ points).

Many people use these benchmarks mistakenly to cross-reference their performance with OTHER users.

Don't do that! Focus on your device and your device alone (and slowly test different settings and improve your performance; once you're done tuning, then begin comparing with others). That's why I'm telling you to start with default clocks first, get a benchmark for that, and work your way up.

Edit:

Benchmarking APPS read your Kernel and see that 2000 Mhz is the highest the Kernel is capable of producing, so it's showing you your minimum/maximum CPU clocks... Not your current clock speeds.

Can honestly say I've never benchmarked the rom or felt the need to. Personally I think the best stability test is real life use. The whole team try as many features as we can in different circumstances and if we get no freezes, sod, rr and no lag then we're happy.
Fully except your point the if you are going to benchmark then so it for stability purposes not numbers. If your phone works the way you want it to that's all that matters

Root cloak has had issues on kitkat or so I've heard, mainly due to Knox & selinux. You can do a search to see if there's a comparable alternative for you... or if they've fixed it somehow. I'm working off memory here I have no way to search or link you to anything because I'm at work. Search root cloak kitkat or something & I'm sure you'll find something that will work.

Need Help and hopefully someone here can guide me:
For some reason I lose Sim Unlock and now my phone is asking for a code.
been searching and it seems the only way to do it is going back to 4.1.1 to be able to dial and get the right menu to do it.
Im using an old bootloader but not sure if i can odin back to 4.1.1 without brick my phone... and if I can where i can get the right firmware to flash.
Appreciate any help...thanks

Thanx
This have been mentioned a few times in the original unlock thread. Found here>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34661189

If you were on the old bootloader all you, had to do was flash the j2 modem from my one stop shop. Didn't have to flash the other Rom...
But hey you got it back working[emoji106][emoji106]

Yeah I agree with you guys, from a developmental point of view (such as yours or baj) it's not necessary for you to benchmark, matter of fact it's not necessary for most people... Most people use it in the wrong manner... Which is why developers such as yourself get frustrated with them and I totally understand. They'd come and say hey I was running this rom before and was getting this score and now I'm getting this score which is lower with your Rom... Which is wrong (that's not the way people should use benchmarking)... Every Rom is different, and every chip is different (gpu and cpu), and every setup is different.

People use benchmarking to cross-platform compare their device with another person's. I personally don't do that... For example I'd install DN, after the initial update of all the APPS, I'd restart the phone and give it 10 minutes to settle and benchmark it at stock values, then I'd benchmark it again after installing AGNI on agni stock values (without changing anything)... Then I slowly over-volt and under-volt and tweak the governor's and the such and improve on WHAT already is a smooth experience with this Rom... But the little tweaks and modifications I make that work for me, might not work for someone else.

Basically the reason I use benchmarking is to improve my own phone (without comparing it to other people)... I have a basic idea of what stock values give me in all the benchmarks (and after I'm done tweaking the phone usually feels a smoother and I'd be getting higher values than I was before).

I can say i "agree" i can ramp up my device (outside of extreme oc) not via stock kern...of course and the device flows and performs like fine tuned rolex... where as my settings may not work as well on yours or his.. i have noticed a mindset in folks after running certain roms certain ways with diffrent andy versions get in a rut.. and thwow all the cosmetics into the new build with a different base and expect the same performance.. and im here to tell ya.. "IT DONT WORK THAT WAY.. its important as we learn the diffrences of lets say Gb Ics kk that each mod or change doesnt allways jive the same... xposed has been creating havoc in kk. And then we expirance non responsive devices.. im the type who runs.. " one thing at a time" and give it time..
Outside of "tester responsibilities" I have now as a part of the Eteam.. in that case on a stock flash i basiclly beat the day lights out of the device with most if not ALL facets enabled and running it and running it hard...
To try and break it and find the weak points or places that do not work so we can fix and repair for folks to have a solid driver on the device..

That's exactly what I mean, most people don't know how to overclock & fine-tune their devices... And tend to wrongfully blame developers for it; which in turn results in developers hating benchmarking and overclocking.

Haha btw totally get what you mean about pushing the device all the way to the edge. I always do that too.

I'm waiting for the final version of DN to be released... After that I'm going to stabilise my Note 2. Use the Super Battery Saving Mode of the S5, combined with the ZeroLemon 9300 mAh Battery and use it as a book reader and internet browser... I'm getting the Note 4 in hopes that e-Team will move towards development on the Note 4.

September 3rd is the unveiling event by Samsung... So probably a week or two after that... I can't wait to see if all the rumours are true.

I'm hoping for a 64-Bit processor, 4gb RAM (Probably going to be 3gb), 2560*1440 resolution (2K), and a Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.5 Ghz... I really hope this time the graphics chip however is top of the line as well.

It's going to have a metal frame and a fake leather back.
