Pretty sure jivin is right. Up is for recovery, down is for download mode.

Same thing happened to me with this rom.

This is what I did to make it work, by fluke.

Hold VOL UP, POWER, and HOME after a battery pull.

As soon as you see the first screen(Which will remain during the whole time you follow these steps), let go of power. Wait an extra second then let go of HOME.

At this point you should only be holding VOL UP. Hold for another second and then let go.

Wait a second. Press VOL UP again and hold for one more second.

Wait (The wait is a bit longer than normal).

Recovery should appear.

Good luck!

Thanks... Appreciate the tips... I know how to get to download and recovery modes when stuck on the boot logos, my issue is not that... I keep getting stuck at the boot logos when booting up after a flash of this rom....

Ahhh. Okay, I thought you were having an issue with the bootloop I had. I had to get into recovery a slightly different way from normal. D'oh!

For those who successfully flashed the lastest version, would you mind posting your step by step method for those who are having trouble. Im still using version 1 with contacts fix, otherwise I'd do it myself.

Guys use philz recovery worked best for me.
In data and fectory reset make wipe for clean rom.
And other steps are avalible in op

I've always been able to finish the install and get it up and running but I have at&t i317 and after the install it keeps showing I have N7105. I loose the 4G Lte ... any ideas?

For how long should it sit on SAMSUNG logo in 1st boot, is it practically 5 mins or more or less?

Att i317, bootloader I317UCAMC3, coming from Android 4.3 Beanstalk with Willl03 tweaks.

-My steps
1) Clean installed DN3 v1, and while still in latest TWRP flashed v1 again
2) Booted (took a few minutes) then restarted to recovery
3) Ran v3.1b (the illegal good semaritan upload version) without selecting any Samsung apps. Aroma failed (completed far too quickly in about 5 seconds) and rom would not boot.
4) Battery pull, restarted recovery, ran aroma again and aroma got stuck at final screen after installation (power button option did not work also)
5) Battery pull, powered on normally, rom booted.
6) Restarted recovery, flashed devil 2.0.0, rebooted, jumped up and down, told wife it worked, she couldn't care less.

Issues found so far:
- Pen Window Manager app looks like it works, but does not.
- My home button thought it was the power button briefly. (toggled home button action in wanam and rebooted fixed)

Thanks a lot for the awesome rom devs. I'm not sure how you put up with all of the craziness that was clogging up the discussion, but thanks again.

First boot took awhile for me the blue light stayed on and I thought it froze but the Samsung logo had the blue outline around it and it was fading in and out so I just waited and it worked

It worked for me yesterday with the rom uploaded yesterday. The one where you needed to add two files. I used twrp2 wiped internal and factory reset. I also just tried the one in the Op today and that one did not work for me. Stuck in Samsung boot loop.

I would say check your apn settings and make sure you have the network mode with Lte selected

I downloaded the one from the op and it didn't work. Got stuck on Samsung boot loop. I installed the rom yesterday that had the missing two files. Added the missing files and installation when down perfect.

Hi,

For me it stuck at samsung logo a last 15 min then a reinstall n7105 mk5 stock
I'll try to activate debug mode then philz recovery and flash the op rom

How long, its my 10th try and struck at samsung logo for abt 8 ins now

Thanks guys but I need to know if it worked for someone (the one of the OP). I can see that for some people it didn't but for the ones that it worked I don't know which one they downloaded. ...

So I have renamed the rom as 3.1C and now all those who download it from now on will download a file with 3.1C.
That way we could know which rom people is downloading ..

Oh please as there was a leak of the rom. I need you to specify which one you downloaded. Otherwise we will become crazy
