Chiming in on TiBu.

It's still going strong.

I only restore Apps not Apps and Data. But I flash so much I never have any data. Doh !

I actually went both routes the other day "for the clean fresh feeling". I deleted my TB backups on SDCARD.

I went through my Google Play history (I sure install a lot of crap) and installed only what I wanted, needed, and bought.

Then I did my TB backup.

The only issue I had was trying the install updates into system app. That's a trainwreck. Don't do that.

I was hoping it would be easier to get all the newer Google crap after a ROM flash then pull the /system partition out.

Locks up like a mad dog.

Mods? Haven't checked or tested any mods yet. And not planning to atm, to many things to finish on this project... 240? dpi think that's something you can do on your own!
And fyi the optimal dpi for this device is 270 for the screen size, to me 240 is too small. But hey that's why we have choices.

Glad to hear this won't be the end of the line for the Note 2! I think some apps might need to be edited for full compatibility with 240 dpi, ez used to have an add-on for his ROM, but he stopped posting some time after he came back. I probably could just edit the build.prop or use app settings from xposed for that, not that big a deal but I thought I'd ask. Looking forward to using this ROM and anything else you guys release in the future, thanks again ?

Okay so dowloaded and flashed on tmo note 2, full wipe including internal. After the initial note 2 spash screen it goes black, but my laptop indicates that a device is connected and the softkeys light up but i can't tell if its booting, no bootanimation or anything. Besides the rom, i also flashed the latest agni kernel. Using twrp 2.8.3.0

I had the same issue, so I restored with twrp.

Default launcher needs to be set if you change it or swipe to wake won't work
You need to open the keyboard and set the personal data popup or it will Fc in the Play store.
Hover SPen over camera shutter FC

1) does it really have an FM radio app? o . O never had one on a phone other than something like iheartradio
2) so, does that mean if we normally use something like Nova Launcher, that it won't work?
3) I have no idea what this means.. please explain?
4) not really a problem for me but might be to some.

That's odd cause I flashed the latest agni along with the rom. But i'll update the recovery and try again. Thanks man for the help

I had the same issue, so I restored with twrp.

What problem did you have? So you restored what? And what did it fix?

Guess we're going to have to add to the Op about flashing on stock kernel gets your black screen. All you need to do is reboot into recovery and flash Agni 4.3.9

Ok I can see this is going to be a hot mess in here.
All you had to do was flash the Rom, not flash the Rom and flash the kernel! Don't think that is NO where in the Op...
Anyone else posting about black screen I'm going to know they skip the Op...

Only the 7100 have the radio.
If you use Nova or Apex, you just have to set it as default when it asks, or go to settings and set as default.
The 1st time you use keyboard, it will say that "this app can collect personal data" or something like that... just check the box before you go to play store.

I can answer 1 and 3. 1 the lte variants don't have the fm radio chip so fm radio won't work. 3 after you first flash the rom if the first time you open the keyboard is in the playstore the keyboard will fc. If you open messages and use the keyboard then it won't happen again
