1st, does your phone say 2.2.6 in about phone? That was suppose to be fixed in that update?

If it does say 2.2.6, and still doesn't work, then this should work for you... I found my post about this here... https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60267360&postcount=12644 You will need to install Xposed for it to work though. Think there is instructions for Xposed in the link to that app?

Edit: Okay, I installed the simchanger app and activated it in Xposed and now it shows my number in About Device. So just have to wait until I get a call and see if voicemail will work.

Edit2: Okay, it appears that the simnumberchanger app fixed my VM and Missed Call notifications problem. Awesome..

Perfect I thought that # thing was fixed in the last update, but it's been 2 years since we've done anything with this, so memory isn't great lol.

I do not need a description, I need this mod in English, at least. Because there are all the mod settings in Spanish. And when you call, there is no sound from both sides. I said it, is not it clear?

I've exhausted all of my own limited knowledge and guesses on what's going on with my phone and hope someone here can help. My t0lte has a gradual but crushing slowdown that starts when the ROM is flashed and gradually progresses to where the phone is almost unusable. I had a similar issue running the old version of DN4 that required the add-on where my phone started great but gradually lagged out over several months. Both times it starts slow, but gradually progresses without any changes in what I do with the phone, ie: no new apps downloaded, light consistent use. I've tried changing kernal settings, uninstalling apps I don't use, even moving stuff out of system that I don't use as per an earlier post in this thread.

I'm all out of ideas and any help would be greatly appreciated, I'll provide any info that anyone needs.

If I were you I'd jump into either the mm rom or 2 of the N roms up and running for note 2. In the n7105 thread and breath some new life into your phone

If it slows down on you, it's usually one of a couple of things... Either /system is getting full, or you're running out of RAM, or your internal storage is getting full. You can check /system and RAM with the DiskInfo app from the play store, and internal storage from settings. If any of them are close to maxed out, it will be slow and unstable.

Thanks for the help, looks like I've got plenty of space internally, but only 68.3 MB free in system, and 273 free in ram. I figured system would be crowded since I've got a T-Mobile version, but I'm not sure where all my ram is going. If I go into settings I'm able to clear it up to about 700 MB free, but my phone still lags to the point that text input is delayed at times, sometimes by seconds.

Do either of those numbers seem like red flags to you? I already removed some features I don't use from system to give it a little more breathing room, but if nothing seems too out of place there, then I have noticed some other behavior that might be of use diagnostically. Some of the preinstalled system apps with the ROM never really worked for me; adfree is permanently checking the local host files, 3 minute battery closes and tells me to update after a few seconds so I need to change settings fast in it, but it works otherwise. I never minded because this is an awesome ROM and it seemed dumb to take issue with something so small, but if that might be another symptom of something else, then it will be the next place I look.

Update: I took notice and checked my free ram the last time my phone was on the verge of freezing up and I had over half a GB free. I'm checking it in settings, might try verifying with a different app

I'd try to either start over with my slim version of the ROM, or start deleting things to get more room in /system. When I was using this, I think I had over 200MB free and this was with a black theme included that I did. You can add to the things already listed in previous posts about what is safe to delete. Be sure to make a backup 1st if you are going to do this so you have something to fall back on and don't have to start over if you delete the wrong thing. You can also delete more apps you know you won't use from the slim version before flashing the ROM by opening the zip and removing them, then re-zip the ROM and probably have close to ~250MB free. Be careful what you remove, or it could cause it not to boot if you delete the wrong thing.

I'm pretty sure there is a setting in Agni that you can set to keep RAM at bay. You can set it to aggressive to keep more RAM available. I haven't used this ROM in years, so going by my bad memory lol

I already downloaded the DN4 here. Does this ZIP file I downloaded here is compatible with SGH-I317m? I need to know ASAP. Thanks

Thanks for replying I ended up downloading the ROM in the site anyway. I flashed the ROM. It was great but a lot has changed.

Removed features

• Quick Glance
• Pen gesture
• Quick command, but replaced with Air command
• 6 Motion settings, including Quick Glance

My only problem is... MY SIM CARD IS NOT VALID!

UPDATE: I re-flashed the original firmware and I'm currently backing up EFS.
If backing up EFS is not going to work. Please tell me a solution! Thank you

I removed the link to the ETeam site because that file is bad. Tried to get them to change it years ago, but finally gave up and just removed the link in the OP. Just follow the instructions in the OP and download from there and read it again and again and don't deviate from it at all. Also read the last few pages of this thread and do a search for i317M and everything should be there you need. Make sure to install the OTA update so it says 2.2.6 in settings "about phone". There is plenty of posts about it. Just do an advance search using that term and my name and you'll be covered.

Samsung Note II DN4 ROM development

It's very difficult to develop for a device you don't own as there's no way to test anything. None of the eteam have the note 2 anymore which is why development has stopped

I have a sprint note II you can use after i do a reset. I bought it on eBay supposedly no water damage (however battery moisture indicator was activated). I dried it out with rice for 3 day; used it on a few MVNO carriers with terrible results. You can have it for testing if the shipping isn't what i consider expensive. I have had two SPH-L900's and have been disappointed. I will be using something other than iPhone or Android. I gave away my BB 9670 once I found out the CIA cracked and hacked that system (listen to John B. Wells "One Minute to Midnight; How deep is the "DEEP STATE" - Ray McGovern - Ark Midnight #48" posted on YouTube 21 May 2017). Side loading BB 10 isn't that easy.
If you want it, you have to provide details to send it.
