Try the new Nougat ROM or older Ganbarou from Beegee

I tested them all.
Use phh superuser not SuperSU

Use light apps, and as less possible Google or Playstore.

Remember it's an old not anymore supported tablet with old hardware.

Good luck

Hi, seeing that you've tested a wide variety of rom/android versions, could you tell me which, in your opinion is the fastest and most stable?
I mostly want to use for browsing internet, pdf files and occasional messaging, nothin too demanding.
Im currently on stock 4.0.4 and i see tat hardly apps are supporting it, even firefox isnt!!

Thanks in advance, awaitin your reply

Devhost download fail

having a problem with cm-11-20141008-1556-p4wifi.zip download, that page loads that scam hardware blocked or virus scam type page that locks up your edge Brower in windows 10, your going to need to fix that, if you want people to still download the older versions here, I had to use alt control and delete and close the web browser because of that problem, with its download links at that site above. theirs some big problems I recommend all report that page to Microsoft or whoever needs to fix the web ads for these android rom site for this android 4.4.4 version, since that download site is no longer safe to use for this rom version under windows. its an hi jacking web browser ad that causes that scam message to come up that either your computer is blocked or you got an fake virus in the web browser that also locks up your browser with its fake virus ads , another reason you have to close all browser tabs when you get that message on your edge browser, that's what the download link above is doing, please fix it if you can, thanks, since its currently unsafe to download it, if its not fixed I recommend xdadevelopers to remove [ROM] [4.4.4] [F2FS] CM11.0/SGT7 for P4WIFI and P4 [20141008] or edit out the download links to Devhost , since that site seems to be connected to the scam ads that popup when you try to access the download files.

3G connectivity issues: Read John Kester's post here.

I'm currently hunting down a deep sleep issue introduced in a recent CM commit, which prevents deep sleep on todays cm-10.2 builds for all my devices (including the ones here). I think I found it the culprit commit though and will post new builds then.

    EDIT:

I uploaded 20130829 builds that have the deep sleep issue fixed. However, a full wipe is required if upgrading from 20130828 for some reason. Otherwise deep sleep won't work (at least for me).
