I installed this ROM on my GS4 before I turned it over to my wife. Clean install. Even wiped the internal. She has gotten an update notification, saying that there is a newer build, 2Nov. Haven't seen any update posted here. Is it an OEM update being pushed?

The updates are only via this post or github. The OTA app is not working right now. And the one you said is the Google official release they are doing time to time so DON'T INSTALL IT

Sorry to add this here but I'm pretty much at a dead end..
Okay I have had this rom for well over a year and never had any issues, even with xposed.. Until now. And it's not like a problem that has been around I've had this Rom, xposed, and my modules installed for 7 months or so, never an issue everything perfect. Never added anything. But all of a sudden my interface changed, all the things changed with gravitybox and xuimod were gone, the lockscreen module I have still works fine, xposed additions pro works fine, xui seems to work fine but the list view animations won't show up as well as anything else (ime animations, battery bar mod etc) and gravitybox won't even open... I've looked and searched and I've found nothing... It's driving me crazy because I have worked on all that forever and it's all just back to stock and I despise it. Especially whenever things were just fine and with no changes or anything it just quit working...
I have already tried
Unchecking all modules and rebooting, re-checking, uninstalling modules and installing, even completely removed xposed and reinstalled, cleared everything I could think of and fresh installs on all. But still the same thing. I'm at a dead end.
If anyone can please help me that would be amazing.

Have you tried to uninstall Xposed and avoid reinstall, then make full wipes, reboot, etc?

I was actually trying to avoid having to do any wipes considering I don't have the rom downloaded at the moment, I need to do that next I guess. I was hoping someone had a similar experience because it was just out of nowhere and I've never heard of that happening all of a sudden.
But I guess that's the only thing left to try.
Thanks man your the only reply I've gotten!
Maybe that will do it.

No problem dude. In fact, developer recommends to always make full wipe (clean install) of the ROM and also every update as they are released. I used to install updates of this rom without wipes (dirty flash) and almost always encountered problems or bad performance. That is why is super recommended to have the latest ROM version in the external SD card, as well as all your Xposed zip files in order to make any wipes as needed.

The great advantage of this ROM is that it lets us make real backups of all the installed apps, so whenever I reinstall it or update it with total wipe, I always say YES to the "restore backup copy" option prompted by the typical initial configuration. Then I just let the system auto download and install all apps by itself all night long (I have several apps for work).

Have a nice day

That's awesome man, and I'm gonna go ahead and install the new version of this rom I finally got it downloaded.
Quick question by the way, I have the 3.0 alpha 2 apk of xposed installer(is this the correct one still, I have the galaxy s4 i337, but it says i995 now)

And after I clean flash the rom do I just flash the xposed arm file? I still have the same version from last time.

The apk installer is the one you will find at the play store. The zip files of the mod are V74-Sdk22-arm.zip and uninstaller 20150831-arm.zip
At least those are the ones that work with my SGH i337m which now has "changed" to i995. But don't worry is still a i337m. Hope it helps

What exactly were you saying was on the play store?
I downloaded the files you uploaded to Google Drive and it's the v74-sdk22 like you said, and the xposed installer 3.0 alpha 4. I wasn't thinking that now after I go to 5.1 I'd have to use a different sdk version and everything. But would you recommend a clean install of the rom and then to install the sdk 22 arm immediately or let the phone boot first then flash xposed and lastly install the xposed 3.0 alpha 4 apk?
My phone is a i337 not the i337m like yours though. Shouldn't make a difference though

I can only recommend what has worked for me. What I did was: 1. Saving ROM and Xposed modules at my SD an never erase them (except when a new update of the ROM comes, I substitute the one previously saved at the SD). 2. Full wipe (but make shure you have your backup configuration ON, so after flashing it will auto download your apps) 3.Flash amazing ROM :p 4.Let system reboot and make initial config and let apps auto download 5. Install Xposed APK from Playstore 6. Flash Xposed module 7. Reboot 8. Done

Hope it works

About system UI problems:
-Have you seen some strange reboots lately?
-Have you had some forced auto update where the system forces the initial installation of files (1 of XXXX number of files after auto reboot) ??
-Have you noticed less performance with demanding games (Fifa UT 15 for example) ??

I do, and I dont know why. I dont know if its because with time one start to install more and more apps, or because Android systems requiere a full wipe time to time ¿¿?? Can wiping only cache fix some of this issues? I will try it out but it would be great to hear if someone else is having similar issues. Have a happy new year you all!!

So, I finally took the plunge and got xposed on my phone while running this ROM. For anyone interested, I got the xposed-v79-sdk22-arm framework and then the 3.0 installer and it's been working fine so far, took a bit longer to boot up but haven't ran into any issues so far.

With that being said, what are some "must haves" for xposed? In the past I always used Gravitybox/wanam, but not sure if either of those are especially necessary while using this ROM. Anyone have any modules that they would say work well paired with this ROM?

Thanks in advance!
