are you serious? i wasnt referring to ir blaster lol. but yeah that works because the 4.4 launcher was pulled from nexus 5. the one on google edition is a little different in that aspect.

thats supposed to be a nexus 5 only feature. roms like gummy, cm, and others have added it in.

I'm pretty sure that you can pull the google experince stuff from the nexus 5 dump in order to get it working.

Weird Bug

So I installed this ROM, and it is showing no reception, but when I call my phone it's ringing fine and when I make calls I can get a connection as well.

I'm on the Fido S4 I337M

ROM seems to be running great. Only issue is I can't back-up apps with titanium backup. It will restore fine but when I attempt to back up an app it says insufficient storage (definitely not possible)

I've tried eveything I can think of to get this rom to run on my Fido S4.

I tried installing the rom as per the instructions.

I tried flashing the KT kernel separately

The rom will run, but shows no network connection even if it has one.

power-home-volume down

once in download mode plug in the device

open odin 3.07

flash modem.bin under the phone option (leave everything else default)

should be good to go

modems for i337m are all the same, carriers don't play with em

Haha no problem man, Can't wait to give you're ROM a go, KT had me test on you're 12345.zip but we later found out it wasn't my ROM it was the kernel and we needed to get a new one made with the faux hack

very pleased this all worked out

Thanks for the tip, however I've tried this method twice using Odin 3.07 but it still shows MG1 modem in Settings. Not sure what to do next?

Edit: It didn't stick for me until I removed the battery and flashed twice as per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47843594&postcount=15

When you make a phone call.. does your network completely dies? after the phone call ends.. the network comes back up.. sometimes it hangs up your call cause you have no network.. anyone having this issue?

Flash the latest modem.bin for you're carrier in Odin. Use the search tool. I can only provide Canadian modems
