I haven't seen any issues regarding battery drain. Oppositely, I.M.O. battery management is much better than the OEM 4.3 rom I used to run.
4.3? thats abit old, latest stock ROM atm is 4.4.2, but im aiming for battery life mainly, although the features in this ROM is supurb!, thanks for the reply. i dont think i trust the battery on this yet... its lot to give up just to test a ROMs battery life
Has this ROM french translation?
hello I just join the Mahdi club!
I just flash this rom... is it possible to flash other rom gapps (i'd like black gapps).
I also had this issue and most user didn't. Backup mahdi and flash a touchwiz ROM. Download GPS status & toolbox and titanium backup. Open GPS toolbox and make sure it gets a lock. Backup GPS toolbox with titanium. Restore mahdi. Then restore GPS toolbox app & data.. Open app to c if it gets a lock....Profit!? Worked 4 me.Anyone know of a fix for the gps issue? Thank you so much for the help.

Hi and welcome to the Mahdi club! :highfive:
Of course, no problem! In fact, you even need black gapps if you want to use the "dark ui" setting in all its glory.
Thx ! happy to be on your side !
Which gapps do you recommand ? How does dark ui work ? just put in on ?
A smal question, I got BT issue it connect to my car and disconnect immediatly ! This morning I tryed maybe 10 times to connect without any success...But maybe the issue is my car !
You can really use any gapps you like. I use pa gapps most of the times. But slim gapps work well, too plus they work with the Dark theme option (you can find that option in settings > themes > dark ui )
I use never had much need for BT, but I googled your issue:
First clear previous paired devices
Then try what this user wrote:" After working a little with Mahdi in XDA, we solved the problem. The vehicle requests permissions to access the phones history and contacts, also to allow notifications for new messages. When I denied those, the connection worked. "
Hope that helps! :highfive:
I've had great battery life on this rom since I switched to it months ago. Of all the roms I've run this one has had the best battery life. It always depends on what you're doing but in my case, I pull the phone off the charger at 8am and when I put it back on the charger at 10pm it's typically at 70%-80%. As always, just depends on how you use your phone. I'm typically a light user.
Battery life really depends on how you use your device on a day to day basis. I for one get at least a day and 4 hours and that's juicing it till 1%. Sometimes on a really heavy day i get 18 hours max. And what kenshiroSG24 said is true too. Hope this helps you decide my friend. Cheers!
