WOW

So excited to try this out. I've been on the nightly for a day and so far so good. I can't say much for he battery life because I've been trying everything out, but haven't had any FCs or rotation issues or weird reboots. I'm really looking forward to some of the customizations that are likely to come, but I waited patiently for 4.4, I can certainly wait a little longer for the really good stuff.

I have been on this Rom for a day now and it works perfectly till now. There have been a few issues though
1. After downloading a few app my /system partition shows full memory .
2. after flashing gaaps I did not get photosphere and galary.

Are there any tips regarding this?
Also I am not able to complete wipe using TWRP it says unable to mount partition.
How can i install cwm on this rom?

Thanks

Boot into TWRP recovery
choose Install
Go to emmc to acces the internal sdcard and go to where you have the kernel with cwm( Siya, AJK, STI)
Flash the Kernel, when finished DON'T TOUCH REBOOT SYSTEM, Just go back to previous screen and choose the reboot to recovery option.

You will boot into CWM now and will be able to wipe everything without issues.

Thats what I did. This ROM is very responsive and nice but still needs a lot of customization options. So I will wait a little longer untill it's improved.

Yepp that basically ear-raped me the first time it happened. And the second. Thats when I stopped listening to my music hahaha.
Lol, yeah I was listening to some dubstep when it first happened, and it was louder but actually fit the song. Second time I was like, okay, that wasn't intentional...

The solution is to turn off Screen Lock Sounds. I normally do that anyways but I didn't try to listen to music after I did that. After I did that it seems to work fine

i mentioned this in the sabermod thread, but if you want to modify the quick tiles you can install the xposed framework [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47771876] and use gravitybox to add/remove quick tiles. I also was able to tweak some other things too, like using circlemod for the battery percent.

It's pretty straight forward to use. The directions are on the original xposed framework thread.

How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone/tablet/rice cooker.
There is also the risk to soft-brick your device. In such a case, restoring a backup is the easiest way to get rid of it (other possibilities mentioned below).

For the framework:
Download the Xposed Installer APK and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot
Done!

You can verify this by starting the Xposed Installer again. If app_process jumped back to an older version (or none at all), you probably have a ROM with S-On or similar, which reverts any changes to /system after a reboot. Then you can try to flash this file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2308

For any modules you want to install:
Download <module>.apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" section (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
Enable the module by checking the checkbox
Reboot
Done!
(note that you can install the framework and enable/disable multiple modules at once and reboot afterwards)
You can also download modules straight from the xposed app.

Well, I went back to my daily driver. This Rom has awesome performance and fluidity, but the battery life sucks. I think I will pass and wait for the sabermod that render is working on.

Yeah I'm still on it but I'm going back to my CM10.2 backup in a bit. Love what I see so far but.. Woke up around 5am, phone was plugged in at 100%. Decided to install today's nightly and took the phone off the charger and set it on the nightstand. Woke back up at 10 and phone was completely dead without doing anything at all.

Definitely looking forward to what's coming though!!

EDIT: Yeah posting this response in Tapatalk just took 10% of the battery hah.

Yeah, my phone barely lasted 1/4th of a day (close to 6 hrs) and it was at 10% by the end of those 6 hrs. I am going to wait until there are kernels that work with 4.4 for this phone. I quite like my full day of battery with ShoStock3.

Firstly thanks for linking us to this rom;) after fooling around with this all day I'm going back to my Slimbean backup. Seemed like it didn't like my phone one bit. It was nice getting a taste of what's to come but I think I'm gonna wait for a beta at least. Def following this thread closely:thumbup: Happy Turkey Day!!

I was able to boot using kernel with CWM and cleaned my system folder and re flashed the ROM along with gapps but now the problem is that I am not able to hear any sound during call ,nor is the other person.I had flaseh and re flashed the rom multiple times but the problem still exists. Is this related to modem or some setting that i need to do?
Can you please upload the modem for I777.?

Thanks

Check which modem you currently have installed, AOSP-based roms do not install modems the way Samsung roms do upon flash. Also, UCMD8 is the latest (and likely last) modem for the i777, you can find all of them in the sticky.

I can't get my SuperUser to work. I installed SuperSU through the play store but it won't install the binaries unless I flash the zip on the supersu website. When I flash that it doesnt seem to work 100% (Apps will say "Asking for Root Rights" but the prompt will never show up. Also, the SuperSU app dissapears from the recents right after I hit the home button
