I can't get my SuperUser to work. I installed SuperSU through the play store but it won't install the binaries unless I flash the zip on the supersu website. When I flash that it doesnt seem to work 100% (Apps will say "Asking for Root Rights" but the prompt will never show up. Also, the SuperSU app dissapears from the recents right after I hit the home button
Works fine here using the 1.76 beta zip from Chainfires website.

I have no clue what happened. I'm not sure if this is my fault or the Rom's fault. I had my phone plugged into my computer to charge and I turned on the screen and launched a game (Clash of Clans) and my screen started flickering in different sections then it just shut off. The battery icon appeared with a loading symbol and after a few seconds a white battery symbol with a question mark in it appeared. I removed the battery and tried booting it again and it doesnt want to boot. It can boot into download. Was wondering if there was a way to get into recovery so I dont have to go back to stock rooted

EDIT: Wow I have no clue what I did but it booted back up after 2 hours

EDIT2: Ok my battery is stuck at 0% what can I do?

how to update from the omni-4.4-20131127 Build?

what are the steps to update?
Umm the exact same way you installed it in the first place?

Somebody should get a general discussion thread going before the DEV thread starts getting flooded with questions that could've been answered by reading the first post.

i mean without loosing my data...

for example: pacman update nightly

* Reboot to Recovery

* Flash the ROM

* Wipe dalvik cache and cache

* Reboot your phone

Weird. I get subpar battery life on this ROM, but I love KitKat too much to flash back my daily driver. What gapps do you have? The one on the op?

Not the best battery I've ever had, but much improved over previous nightlies, and better than carbon 4.3 for me.

11/29 nightly, day two. 45% remaining, 45 minutes of screen time. (I'm using Active Display heavily, so I'm not spending much time digging through apps to read updates.)

I used the PA-full-modular gapps.
