No it was a full wipe, both times
It's not my first time flashing huh

Hmm strange one bud not sure how its set like that by default,wasn't with me......install and root fine for me after a FULL wipe.( i've successfully flashed this about 5 times or more)
I did have a "duh" moment and forgot to enable root before installing apps but after enabling on dev settings all was fine!

Shame i don't have a second phone, otherwise i could had shown with a recording that i'm not talking nonsense here
I did wipe in recovery, installed rom and gapps and the setting was already like that after booting.. There is no reason for me to not tell the truth, it's only counterproductive in this situation..

But i have had these weird things all the time, always things happening to my devices that doesn't usually happen with others


Edit:

-Nav bar keeps popping up after i (only installed, not tweaked with it) GravityBox[KK] from Xposed modules (i want to use it since it has tons more tweaks than the rom provides)
-Front cam video recording is upside-down, just like it was with the other CM11 rom.

Personally i feel the rom is feature rich, considering its only 165mb (obviously more when installing Gapps/Sweetener pack etc). I’ve had a look at Gravity box and the tweaks/Mods it has!..... Most of the tweaks/Mods are available with the sweetener pack or built in under “candy interface”.

Yes the front facing camera does record upside down, that was an oversight on my part, thanks for pointing it out:good:. I reckon most people install a 3rd party camera app from play store anyways which will rectify the situation or install “Banks Gapps standard” which automatically installs google camera.

I have xposed installed, running a few modules without any issue!

After reading your comments last night, I full wiped and done a clean install (again) to see if I could reproduce the issues you reported. To be completely honest I never encountered any of them. The root options in dev tools is set at “disabled” by default but can easily be enabled by checking the appropriate box (as mentioned on first page and on candyroms Q&A thread).

Everyone can go about it there own way the user never posted a screenshot of root not also saying they could not get a screenshot because root is not working candy kat has been tested on the m4 and other htc phones and no one has has said it was not working candykat but until now seems like the problem was flashing su and I'm pretty sure that was the problem

We support around 21 device's I maintain 4 this ROM runs great on all of them. Only seems to be this device, well saying this device (user) having a problem....

I flashed this earlier today, best ROM so far. I like how it's full of features, without being bloated. It's still faster than other ROMs even though I have full encryption setup. Thanks.
