the reason i mentioned about enabling root. is that most users forget to go to "dev tools" and "enable root access" after they boot!

EDIT: Try this for now, settings, candy interface, hardware buttons : enable custom actions and remap "long press back button" to "menu"....that will give you acces to the menu in Tbackup...once your in, am sure there is an option to hide/show menu bar from there

Try these settings and check if it do something in ur PC, also plug usb on different ports to for checking

Ok, yesterday I flashed Rom again:
1. Disabling Usb-Debugging solved PC-connection (btw I always had it to turn on in other Roms). As Titanium req. debugging, I enabled it again and connection still work.
2. Workaround with Titanium worked. There is no option to show/hide menu, but I only need the settings once (to set backup location).
3. SwitchPro's GPS switch doesn't work., but that maybe is caused by the app (also Titanium).
4. I can't set a contact as favorite. When tapping on the fav-icon, its status is set to active on press, but then immediately inactive again.

Contacts! Mines are set as speed dial so got there icon soon as I hit phone icons. From phone icon, all contacts, select contact, Mark the star and then they should be on screen as soon as you hit the phone icon. Dunno if this is of any use to ya

that rom is a blast, i've used it a couple of days and it worked like a charm!
but i was missing the good sense camera and keyboard
i think there is no way of porting them without the sense framework, right?
ps: i've had the same problem with titanium backup -> missing "menu" button.

i thought kk did away with 3dot menu, have you tried changing DPI settings for using with TB I don't use it bit I downloaded it and my menu button shows. Also there a lot of good camera apps around its looking for themthat rom is a blast, i've used it a couple of days and it worked like a charm!

still looking into the Tb issue but seen it reported on other devices running a variety of different type roms... etc.hopefully remapping the back buttons will suffice just now.that rom is a blast, i've used it a couple of days and it worked like a charm!

as for keyboards...ive always stuck to swiftkey (its free now) but Ai keyboard meant to be good.
im currently using the camera and gallery from the oneplusone, personally think its great and the gallery is just awesome, heres the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/camera-apk-cm11s-oneplus-one-t2752241 (after download you might need to move to system/apps manually, then install like any other apk)

The devices effected are probably the hard key devices like HTC. Sony,nexus are possibly fine like myself owning the Amami that's fine

hey thank you! i will give it another try then, i've made a nandroid backup with most of my stuff already set up.
i think i've tried swiftkey but i was unable to hide the "suggestion-bar" on top. it is quite useless as i am writing in swiss german most of the time
that camera looks quite interesting! i will have a look.
i just discovered, that it seems possible to change the default camera application. interesting!
Been running ROM a few days now and things seem smooth and happy, I have 2 questions though :-
1. Is it possible to change the font size, I can't find a setting for this anywhere
2. Someone just called me and the phone number displayed in US format, is it possible to change this to UK format anywhere?

I was running TB on InsertCoin 3.0.7 and the Menu button was showing so I don't think it is a device issue...The devices effected are probably the hard key devices like HTC. Sony,nexus are possibly fine like myself owning the Amami that's fine

Font size changer was remover because was conflicting with DPI on fly. Also Call US issue never seem that before unless something is setup in US settings..
Also the menu your stating a stock HTC ROM not a AOSP one. It a Issues I take it with Hard key button devices on AOSP not the ROM its self mine device is fine I own a Z1 Compact

I would try flashing a different font style from the sweetener pack for now, or look into xposed modules.
Re:the call... Was it someone saved on your contacts? If so is the contact saved on sim, device or Google account...? I would check how they are saved. Or you could go to settings, language & input and make sure the language selected is English UK and not English US. This may help, cheers

Seems to me, looking at the dialler settings, that it was the Reverse Lookup. The reverse lookup providers are set to US providers only. I have unchecked People and Reverse Lookup for the moment but I think that's what it was.
The number was a cold call from 0121 0249 0540 which, reverse lookup shows, is in San Antonio, Texas.
I just dialled myself from my desk phone and the number showed properly as xxxxx xxxxxx
