How do you mean? were you trying to install a theme or something??

in settings i changed to dark candy....that was fine, i also installed a theme and that worked too.

edit: ah i think i know. were you expecting the UI to replicate the screenshots Trigg posted? that will be a theme he has flashed on to his device from either playstore or here on xda

I think your confused by the screenshots, he was just showing settings with a theme installed (LG G3 theme I believe)

So while we wait for the thread to be transferred here 1.6.1
No big change just brought the source up to date with slimrom.

great rom, everything works!
even the battery life if great. i just have one issue, call quality from time to time seems to drop( like im talking from a barrel).
did any body else noticed anything similar. ill try to flash different kernel and report back.

Double tap status bar will put phone to sleep.

Bubba kernel has those features your wanting BUT... It's known to have a bug of phone not going into deep sleep so will have slightly higher battery drain. ( rmbq has stopped development for it)

@tr1gg3r84 cheers for the outstanding development over the year or so, without you this device woulda been long forgotten! A major thanks for developing probably still the best rom available for the m4, your hybrid rom. Also cheers for listening to my requests to bring ck to the m4, a rock solid, stable rom that's fast, customizable and battery friendly. Awesome!

@rc420head a big thanks for taking over the developing/maintaining of ck for the m4,it's appreciated big time. Especially when you work hard to continue dev/maintaining other devices.

Cheers guys for allowing me to be part of ck and testing the roms before release. Hope to see ck and the team on my new device.

(I've still got the m4, sitting in a drawer someplace so if you need my for anything just gimme a shout on hangouts)

The end part about your M4 sitting in a drawer almost made me cry. Im running an LG gx on Gingerbread after giving my GF my One VX after our kitten sent her phone crashing to a cement floor. (She travels a lot so she needed a reliable nore robust updated phone).

Why did you give up on the mini? Thinking about buying a second hand used mini if i can find it cheap enough. Did you move up to the M7? (Just curious why youd have it sittibg in a drawer and not pimping it)

@mattplo it was time for a change as I was getting a bit bored of the device plus it's got 2 hairline cracks at the volume buttons like most of the other m4's.I've got a Sony z3c now, it leaves the m4 (and most other phones) in the dust, best phone I've had to date. I still use the m4 but just as a test device for stuff I'm trying out.

Obviously candyRom will be getting flashed as soon as it's available for my z3c
