But since all you want is to be spoonfed, settings>backup and reset>reset preferences.

it works for me.
have you flashed fixed 4.6 beta 3 build? if so, try clearing the cache (wipe cache partition in recovery under wipe>advanced wipe) and then going to b&r menu



you dont have to wipe the old system with every build, just flash it over the previous one - its the same rom so it should be fine more than not (that way disabled apps will remain disabled, given root permissions will remain given, app privacy and all other settings will also remain unchanged, so you wont need to do it every time)



pie is automatically enabled once you enable immersive (first time you enable immersive you will be asked if you'd like to use pie too,in case you previously pressed "NO", then go to settings>backup&reset>reset preferences, tick "pie controls" and click "ok", then go enable immersive once more, but this time press "YES")

also gapps arent black, each one has individual theme by default, but you can change rom themes and by doing that skinned apps will change skins (if the theme has them skinned, that is)

Hi guys!

I'm going to ask something I feel a bit weird in Paranoid... I installed yesterday at 8 P.M, more or less. I obviously installed my apps, set 'em up, and before that I switched to ART (I have the beta, btw).

Now (9:18a.m. at Spain) I'm looking at reddit, Telegram, etc., and I feel a little bit hot at the top of the phone (with stock I've never have this).

Any ideas? Thank you very much to take a minute to read it

I don't consider ART as mod if it's implemented into the Paranoid's source code. For me ART is part of the stock Paranoid.

So sorry, but I'm not going to change that.

We even stated in the warning prompt that we don't accept bugs while running art because its experimental even from Google

I guess you are using the Android L style recent apps.
I have the same problem, except it is not systematic, most of the time when I open the recent apps, they appear transparent, I have to close and re-open the recent apps part to see the tabs. This is a bit annoying.

I don't know if these are me-specific for some reason or if these are issues everyone struggles with on a daily basis but just accepts them because it's such a beautiful rom. I have been dirty-flashing since 4.4.2, all the latest betas and latest stable seem to do this for me.

1. When in a call, there is hesitation in dimming the screen, sometimes it doesn't go off on its own when phone is by ear, sometimes it goes off as it should and doesn't come back on when I move phone in front of me. I have to fiddle with the lock-screen on/off to bring up dialer buttons for instance. accelerometer seems to work normally since games are ok.

2. I try to swipe the top to show the status bar/notifications or whatever, usually this works no problem, sometimes i swipe many, many times before it comes down. why? it's not greasy fingers, once it comes down, it's usually responsive to subsequent hides/show gestures...

3. some one else mentioned this, but the pie controls, when located on either right or left side, make using the swipe (and sometimes even normal!) keyboard impossible.

4. Maybe once in 2 weeks I find the phone crashed in my pocket [off (when i didn't turn it off) and when turned on has like 50% battery]

So, is this normal? Too many dirty flashes and need to try a reset?

dirty flashes only creates issues with longer period...
clean flash will solve your issues..have a try

I agree.
I didn't have any of these problems probably thanks to clean flashes.

Cananapeal, maybe you are also using a non stock kernel? I had some troubles with Franco a while back.
