Already done, I'll retry next and let you know :)
The build I use and the one I have uploaded are different. The one I made is a test build without make clean and the one I uploaded is a clean build. Maybe because of that

First impression PA Final 4.4

Downloaded rom:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/auxjbyyvpyny6sa/pa_p500-4.4-20140626.zip

Clean flash, rebooted the system, system's running but can't go nowhere :) since SDCard is unknown or not present according DocumentUI and also in Sttings>Storage (just System and Internal, no SdCard information). Duh
Tried to push RootExplorer.apk into /system/app in extracted ROM, zip the ROM, reflash, system booted. :good:
Execute RE and notificaton error showing: The sdcard is not currently mounted. :)

Verdict:
IMHO, this PA final rom has an issue with mount Sdcard. Sorry @rhar****, I can't go nowhere without SDCard to be mounted. Don't know what the culprit is . Maybe should flash without wipe.
Congrats and thanks for your efforts to bring PA Final to P500, anyway :good:

Reverted to Beta7 :good:

Yea, it has SD card mount issue. I first thought it was only my SD card. SO i removed and reinserted it and it worked all fine (while phone on).
Now i have i figured out that its a kernel issue, which I'll resolve.
Till then try if the older kernel works

Just a suggestion. Since you have already successfully brought PA on p500 (apart from SDCard mounted issue) and updated this thread to PA Final, I think it's time to abandon the PA development and focus on Omega ROM. You may update it either to Beta8 (4.4.4) or RC1 or even develop a new rom based on Android "L" :) One of Beta7 disadvantage is dalvik2cache script doesn't work :(. Once you fixed it, I'm sure Omega will be the first choice among others ROM :good:
Again, this is just a suggestion. :) You may disregard it. After all, the decision is yours, isn't it?

I just don't know why, but you always think the way I do :D
I'll update omega ASAP.
Gonna fix a few issues and trying to create a dalvik2cache script. Also I'm trying to expand /system by adding it to cache. Hope it works fine

OT: belongs on other thread but continuing previous post.

Looking forward!

Note beta-7 bug posted on launching single/only foreground app into split-screen.
Split-screen otherwise works OK but does contribute instability to system. Will soon enough lag up or crash dalvik. The dalvik-only "quick reboot" creates its own instabilities and I would immediately do a real reboot. Do look for memory leaks, untoward writes, whatever in split-screen. (Have not tested Halo-floaters yet.)

Beta-7 ROM is my daily-driver and in 99.9% work exceedingly well. Get my PA-fix using Xposed.

I too have reverted to omega for daily driver. Successfully built 4.4.4 but it isn't the beta8 yet.
I'm thinking of giving it a 'Android L' makeover. The only problem is I can't get the resources. I'll get em soon and soon a better omega.
And about the split screen issue, I'll look into it later

Continued OT: For other thread, but ...

Great. Do not count on "L" sources any time soon. There is only a binary image for a couple of Nexus devices.
Individual Google "first party" apps are around with material drawable resources. Warning: Armv7 pre-compiled jnis. Most of these are items best installed as user apps.
"Material" may have new APIs unavailable as of yet but maybe in the framework .jar's off the image but these are not compiled for our device.
Boot animation needs be resized drastically.
