on version 26 with stock kernel...
have set display to always on while charging, but it still dims after a few seconds of inactivity.
i can't find where to turn the dimming off.
i thought sleep settings might help, but it doesn't give a 'never' option.
came from version 21 and it did what i wanted with that version.
this was a clean v26 install, no titanium, no other automated restore, full clean install, manual restore... cuz if you're gonna do it right, do it right.

is this just not possible without some type of keep alive app?
i use a magnetic cd-tray mount in the car and like it to stay on while driving.

soo the past 3 ROMS i have been on i noticed when i try to power of my note 2 it restarts. what could this possibly be? it did it both on this rom and DN3, could it be the boot loader or the custom recovery what would you guys suggest i try ?
even if i try to power off from twrp it still restarts

The kernel must support LPM for that too work on kitkat. My kernel has it, not sure about the others

I have no idea how this happened.
I woke up this morning and all of a sudden my Chrome browser is always opening in a floating window and I don't know how to stop it.
I've even uninstalled and re installed the app and still continues to float. I didnt change any settings and double checked to see if i did... but nothing, it just happened out of the blue.

How do i disable it?

Its the new material update for chrome.. I haven't had much time to figure it out but it has something to do with DPI.

happening to everybody i think. all roms, all phones.

only fix i've found is opening it, hitting home button, then going to recents, and opening chrome from recents panel. it will open properly for that session and sometimes will open properly from a home screen icon or apps drawer after that.
regardless, launch it from recents and it will work properly at least once.

I'd you run xposed, you can get xhalofloatingwindow module and blacklist it. That seems to be the work around for now

Even if I blacklist Chrome it still opens in floating window. Only solution is to minimize and open it from recents apps, as @chunkybudz said.

I've got one more thing that really annoys me - music stops even when blacklisted number is calling me. Is there any solution to this problem?

The work around I've been using is bringing up recent apps and selecting it from there...goes to full screen when you do that and has been confirmed by multiple people I know with different phones to work

Does anyone have a solution to the dead battery logo after battery completely drains off ? I have to remove and put the battery back in every time my phone dies.
Also, like everybody else, my battery has been draining quickly with this V26 ROM (was better with LiquidROM). Does agni solve the problem as reported in earlier threads ?

Agni causes random reboots I rolled back. my battery stabilized after a few weeks but not as good as v24

I find this strange. The whole point of a beta is to avoid these bugs in the stable one. How in the world did such a large bug make it through the beta into the stable Chrome?

Because it's based on slim. Slim is considered the best "clean" custom AOSP by many. And with the stuff will adds to the ROM, makes it "the" best "clean AOSP" for note2.
