anyone know why I'm getting really bad battery life with this ROM??? and it's erratic, sometimes it goes down from 40%, reboots than it's at 8% or lower..

sudden drop of battery after restart means you have bad battery, once check your battery and i am sure it became little fat

I'm not so sure about that.... I have also experienced that same anomaly mostly after changing some dirty tweak settings and it happened with 3 different batteries ranging from different brands (original and aftermarket) and different usage wearing (one of 'em is in fact almost new).... and it only has happened to me only on this ROM,so there may be definitely something...

Had the same problem. New battery was the solution .

Please forgive me, I am no programmer (norr do I intend to be... lol) But I downloaded an App called mGerrit rom the Download Center built into this rom, and read a few posts.... WOW, I am in awe of both yours and other talented Devs who have contributed amazing clever tweaks/code...

I spotted a couple from yourself, as of today... Relating to the Camera2 / Storage / Camcorder... Whilst I dont know what this code actually does....?? Does this mean you've found / fixed the bug that causes the Camcorder to lockup when you run it on this rom?? Sorry I got a bit confused as to what the code/changes did?? and I guess these changes will be coming in a future build...

It's not a Camcorder lockup fix, it adds a storage choice option to the camera (internal or sdcard).

hi thanks for the new build chasmodo. i will be performing a clean install now. regarding what lister said how do i go about getting that code so i can change the storage location of the stock camera app? also in init.d tweaks do you recommend any to activate that make things even better? thanks

Hi Dead4ngel,

I don't think that code is live yet? I maybe wrong... But if you download mGerrit, you get to see all future upcoming tweaks/changes.... So chances are this will be included in the next release....

Hi @dead4ngel, (@Chasmodo),

No worries, And no Ive not used a separate Launcher with this new build yet... Although I did try to SideLoad one (if thats possible) with the builtin recovery....

As looks like an old bug has crept back in..?? Not sure if its to do with the Lockscreen Wallpaper or Wallpaper, in general. However previous build 12-03-2014 seemed to fix the same bug as the build before, however the new build 14-03-2014 seems to have re-introduced it?? At this stage I don't know the cause, but I think its the Lockscreen Wallpaper....

For now, I shall just use the rom without any Lockscreen wallpaper... - Although I have now found a way to fix this issue in Recovery, to prevent the SystemUI BoobLoop... However it then brings up a Google Now/Search continually crashing loop... (hence why trying to SideLoad a Launcher APK, but that didnt work either).

Among other things, it has a number of new Camera2 merges; one of them is configurable storage, and two others might cure camcorder hiccups.

Hi chas, installed and on-the-go works fine. I made a test while driving and ran three redlights, i use it only by walking since now.
I can´t say nothing about camera, using photosphere.
Still there are hickups (me like this expression) with appbar when deaktivating lockscreen. Choosing a lockscreen wallpaper leads to installed themes but i can´t pick and choose. Hope this could help, this rom rocks, thanks for your work!

im literally installing it and pa gapps as i type this. so will give you my summary soon

ok let everything settle in. did 3 reboobs. opened camera app and can see the new options. the storage to sd card instead of internal works well in all 3 modes. no problems there. i can also see the new options in video record. however as soon as i select video mode the images that i see looked squashed. so for example a bottle looks skinny and taller. thats only in video mode. normal picture taking works fine. this is in every video quality setting too. apart from that everything else works well. roms very fast and smooth.
