Ups.. heres the deal my friends

Seems I lost root somwhere on the road to 8.1 and even if I flash SuperSu zip 2.13 I cannot gain root..

A few days ago I was asked to update my SU binary and so I did and seems like there is when my soft reboots started, so I went back to the Oct 2 build and was asked to update the binary again and reboots started, so I reflashed and did not update SU binary, but ran rootcheck and it there is when I found I did not have root.

So I rebooted into TWRP, flashed 8.1 again, and flashed SuperSU 2.13 (fixed permissions as well) . I still dont have proper root but at least the device does no soft reboot.

Any suggestions @chasmodo ?

Regards

UPDATE; Just downloaded SUperSU 2.14 form the Store and I gainded root again.I I havent been asked to update the SU binary and seems everything is fine now. I dont know about the reboots.. will wait and report back

Eidt: SuperSU 2.13 is reported to have "problems updating the SU binary on some devices " (Chainfire)

are there any recommendations what filesystem to use for ext. sd card get best stability?
Had clean flash of 8.1 yesterday, had 1 crash a few minutes after i flashed while using whatsapp and default keyboard. Afterwards it seems to run stable so far.

Theorically speaking, exFAT is the filesystem thought for medias such as sd cards etc...
@lionelia suggest exFAT will return best performances: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55862836#post55862836
I have tried exFAT and effectively looks like performances are better, although I reverted to FAT32 after phone was unable to read at apps in external SD (for some days neither in FAT32 they were read, so maybe wasn't that the issue).

Speaking about SD cards and external ones...

I am following @FabreFaction suggestion about keeping all of apps in internal memory: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56093284&postcount=121
I got some slowdowns but I consider them normal (cache rebuilding etc...) especially while using Dolphin/Chrome/stock browser.
Now it's 3 days and no reboots/freezes. and looks like all goes well for now. I wonder it THAT was the issue? (I discovered to have NOVA launcher in external sd).

fast settings and Dark Gapps

Hi there :)

Thank you so much for this fantastic ROM. stable full of features.. awesome!

Have you noted that
in fast settings, something gone wrong? settings of tiles you want doesnt work fine! you move tiles and then you'll find them in another position! anybody could confirm?

Is it possibile maybe having any gapps in inverted color or with dark or black theme?

Great works but i have problem

First of all, i want to thank everybody who help development of this Rom. Every new day, you improve this Rom and add all new features.

But unfortunately, i have one problem with quick settings panel.

Generally all day i work outside of city and i am not able to use H+ network so i try to change network type to Edge from quick settings panel.

But i am not able change network mode so all day my phone try to find H+ network and get my battery empty.

Also it is possible to change from mobile network settings menu if i do not forgot.

i do not know only i am faced with this issue

and i kindly ask for your help if possible

and again thanks for all developers

note: i am on DU_n7000_4.4.4_20141017-0840.v8.1-OFFICIAL.zip version of Rom with clean install

Reboots after switching on Dynamic colours

Facing random reboots if i switch on the dynamic colour option......anyone facing the same?
if I dont switch it on,,,,this ROM is as smoothhhhh......as my Girlfriends Skin :laugh::laugh::laugh:
I will be not using the dynamic colours unless it gets fixed in future builds...
Note:Fresh install of the latest build with all wipes
Gapps:Banks minimal
and Kernel:The kernel of the ROM

At least on 8.1 official, I haven't reboots while activating/deactivating dynamic color option.
Can you plug the phone at PC, run a logcat, then switching dynamic colour to cause crash? That would help pinpointing the issue :)

Gapps:Banks minimal
Side info: Banks is not anymore maintained.
I suggest you to use jajb (using right now: Minimal X) or PA (used before: Pico)
@chasmodo: Download Center options in Dirty Tweaks should be tweaked properly after these considerations.
