im a noob
here comes a noob question :p

i only have 2gb that i can install apps on, always insufficient storage available or no storage space when trying to install apps from play store. My phone is 16gb version.
is there a way to make the app/data space bigger ?
What @dreamer4o said, or if you want to resolve in a less harmful way, install Link2SD from Play Store and follow this guide to make a second partition in your external SD (this forces you to keep the external SD in, but shouldn't be a big deal):

Do a deep clean before flashhing ROM an gapps. After flash reboot and install apps and do your settings. Reboot in recovery wipe and dalvik cache than advanced menu and fix permissions. Reboot. Enjoy

awesome ROM i every seen in KITKAT
can you build this for MI3 (Xiaomi CANCRO) ?
Hi

You'll need to request that on the DU Google+ Community.
I don't think Chas monitors this thread anymore as DU for N7000 ended with 8.1 when Chas sold his N7000.
There is an 8.2 Unofficial Build on the DU Google+ Community for N7000.

Cheers.................. FF

why dont you switch to cm12 rom (nightowl and reseurrection remix)? for me those rom is more more stable and beautiful than du. du have so many features and its really awesome but it have so many bugs too (like the wallpaper, fcs, random reboot, system error, lags after few days using).

Plenty of freezes :(

I did all the wipe and wipe dalvik cache needed but my GN1 freezes several times a day :(
I have the official version 8.1.

Update busy box.... Download twrp manager and up date busy box
I'm on 8.2 and after I updated busy box and gave it a few days it stopped freezing and rebooting for the most part.
After a month it's rebooted like twice and only froze 2 to 3 times.
Until they get l flawless I'm not moving.
L still has features not working and some bugs still.
Plus they use CWM recovery, twrp is much better.

Thank you both but I don't even know what busybox is...
I've noticed that If I do a wipe dalvik cache each time after installing a new app, the phone works without freezing. But it's no fun :(
I'll certainly update to lollipop in a while, but for now I'd rather wait a stable version. CM official for exemple.
I think now I'm going to flash a plain CM 11, and then flash the patched kernel from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ernel-fpbug-stable-4-x-kernel-galaxy-t2978088
Hope it will be ok :/
UPDATE: It was NOT ok, brick, etc.

I think the best and stable cm11 rom is aicp and slim brothers. Aicp is full packed feature while slim is pure lightweight rom.
Both of them is less bug.

Actually a bug affects all KK roms, but it seems that only Slimsaber has fixed it in their new release.
Can confirm... Slimsaber has fixed it.... But you do still get mini lags and rare occasion full on freeze.

CHAZ ! Come back!

if you're waiting for stable, and not beta lollipop releases(though beta itself is very stable), flash and use @bauner 's CM11 or CM11 AOKP ROM provided here:):):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...uner-x-treme-cyanogen-aokp-android-4-t2865677
there are 3 versions!,non OC, and 2 OC versions at 1500 & 1600 MHz.
use the stock kernel, no use for any custom kernel .the performance is just plain awesome. and its very stable.
i think his effort for CM11 and CM11 AOKP deserves much more attention.:D:D

Hi BR54,

Are you saying there is a Lollipop version DU for our N7000...? If so, where is it please...?

Thanks, Lister
no.there's no DU-LP for n7000.DU hasnt even officially started making releases even for nexus devices.
and there's no device maintainer for n7000 in DU anymore. chasmodo was the maintainer ,but he sold off his note after 3 years of supporting our phone. hence, there'll be no DU for n7000 unless someone ports it.

No.,just saying lollipop is working stable for the note.
I'm using the resurrection remix beta3 stock.
It's stable and fully functional..... Good enough to be a release version.

Hi @avincric,

I didn't think there was, just saw BR54 post earlier this morning and was confused by the "head on over to lollipop forums" thinking perhaps someone had done a test build on our Note, like Lionel had with 8.2. I've been watching the DU Google+ page for some time now, although not sure why I still check it now, knowing that there won't be a release for us this time around... :( Aye, @chasmodo leaving, was a sad sad day... :( Not only was he the maintainer for DU, he also did Asylum and LiquidSmooth (not that many people knew that even existed for our device in KK form). Shame he had to move on, but fully understand why, gotta move with the times... Just grateful for all he has done uptil now... :) And ya never know, someone may fill in his steps, and continue to knock out other roms for us, once CM12 / Lollipop approaches its final stages (a little while to go yet, but getting ever sooner).

Keeping my eyes on JackEagle and Lionel for future roms, as it looks like most have moved on now... :(

Hi @br54,

Oh right, sorry... I got confused, saw you posted in the DU thread, and though perhaps someone had picked up from where Chasmodo left off, and was knocking out a N7000 DU9 build for us... Such as Lionel....

Aye, I've been keeping an eye on both Bauners and R-Remix builds, and look forward to when they come out of Beta stage, when 'EVERYTHING' is working 100%, and then we can expect some of the cooler features of what JB & KK roms had to offer us.... :) Lollipop is looking good, certainly is smoother and faster screen re-draws... But I like my roms to contain extra bells and whistles, and so shall wait for that functionality to re-appear before going back over to it... :)

Thanks for the heads up though... :)
