Those who are having difficulties with BUTTON BACKLIGHT, You can try the method below:

1. Download the attached zip file from below
2. Extract it
4. Copy/Move the two files to /sys/class/leds/button-backlight and overwrite
3. Done :)

Before modifying ROM, it's good to make a backup :)

Hey, I'm trying to install this rom on my friend's phone but I get stuck on a boot loop everytime. I have an unlocked bootloader and rooted ics. To get CWM I flash a custom kernel.( I've tried lupus, naa's, kernelpanic a few others). Then I flash Mahdi Rom, wipe data and reboot and end up in a bootloop. Can anyone help me with what I'm doing wrong?
I've also tried flashing supersu after flashing the rom as I am at my wits end

Use kernel that include the Rom zip or lx cm11 kernel

Can anybody here help me caliberate my battery on Mahdi. Whenever it goes to 30% or so. It shows 1% battery warning and shuts down. Using the rom for months first time facing such a problem. I have tried all kinds of calibration tools and manual calibrating as well but nothing seems to work.
Thanks.

1. use your phone till it dies.
2. charge it up to 100% (if its 100% keep it 20mins + on charger)
3. go to /data/system with any root explorer & delete the batterstats.bin file
4. reboot. thats the manual way.

maybe also your battery dies. it looks like that (it skipps dead cells so thats why ur get that drop from 30 to 1%)

Did you try gapps by mardon? The link is in the cm13 thread. Mike provided in the op. I'm using cm13. Maybe later, I will be back using this rom. Its good.
