Unofficial build of Carbon Kitkat 4.4.4 for the Togari

This ROM is built from source using
Carbon's git
CM's git
My changes to CM's tree etc
CM's kernel with changes for ZU

Camera glitches:
Camera fix / workaround "Another Camera Fix (It's really a workaround) to try > Post #23" This should be no longer needed as CM has included this in their base
Builds 31 to 35 suffer from bluethooth issues. If bluetooth is important stay on build 30 for now

Kernels

Different kernels for different users:
Carbon DT2W 4.4.4: [07-07-2014] This is a kernel that has @reaper61616's Double Tap to Wake incorporated into it. It may work better without two screen protectors on (after-market and ASF), please post your thoughts on how well it works.Please thank reaper in his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692552

DT2W is enabled by default:

Disable DT2W:
In terminal write: su -c "echo 0 > /sys/android_dt2w/dt2w_active"

After reboot DT2W will be activated again. If you want to make it disabled by default add the above init.d script!

any graphics glitches, like the Sony boot logo flashing up? I'm wonder if some of the issues I had were from the dirty flash. I'll re-flash when my phone is recharged and do some testing.

no Sony boot logo. It happens when having too many (possibly duplicate) xposed modules activated (noticed that on liquid too) but that is a separate issue (and i should not have the modules set up that way anyway)

i tried installing the zip using both recoveries, but they both insist my device is honami while it clearly shows under settings that mine is C6802

is there something wrong with the update script?

flash boot.img from the zip using fasboot and then flash the zip that will do the trick...........

Yep that sort the issue. What rom were you coming from, or what recovery did you install/? I bet it's. Gpe.

As long as the backup is from 290 or 136 based ftf/ROM then no problems. The only issue is going down to a 4.2 ROM/ftf

Bugs list.

Well i haven't seen anyone share the same problems as me, but i would i like to share some of the bugs i have encountered, just in case you guys can solve them.

Bugs list:

Whatsapp and Instagram does not work on data.
Camera performance is awful imo compared to stock sony.
Asphalt 8 crashes before a race starts. Not when the game itself starts but right before a race.
OK this may not be a bug but i cant seem to get any notifcation sound for anything no matter what setting i use. The only sound coming out of my phone is when someone calls me or when I play music out loud. Nothing for messages, whatsapp(on WiFi) or twitter.
Occasional graphical glitch and unstable screen brightness
Slight stuttering occasionally(not much of an issue for me but its there nonetheless)

If you guys know how to solve, please let me know.

Instagram works fine here over 3G

Did you wipe the Data partition and both caches when you installed?

I'm talking about photo quality.
In my case for Instagram, no matter how many times i try to refresh the feed, it just says "Couldn't refresh feed"
No matter what settings i use, i get nothing when i receive a message or anything.

Anyways, i believe i did wipe cache and dalvik cache.

You will lose apps and settings but does make for a much more stable ROM

Blueether..one thing and this is general to all kitkat 4.4 roms for togari..am experiencing every so often (tried carbon, liquid etc) after some extended use and sometimes even limited use that all of a sudden the caller at the other end (or receiver at other end) of a phone call will not be able to hear my voice (fresh clean installs etc..took out any call recording etc programs or xposed mods-not that they work anyway on 4.4). This is maddening. While there is great functionality in the 4.4 aosp/kp etc builds this inconsistency is pretty disconcerting (like I said, it starts doing this after some extended usage sometiems with limited usage like a nandroid restore this morning-so pretty random but then does not go away even with reboots etc until I do another fresh install). I did not experience anything like this on the 4.3 builds (stock or de-odexed stock). Am going back reluctantly to the 4.3 (136) saved nandroid. Think maybe official 4.4 needs to come for this device.
