Hey guys,
Sorry if this has been asked, but i hadnt seen it, My LG G3 ls990 zv8 is using 5.0.1, could i use this rom right as it is, or would i have to flash back to 4.4.4?
Thnkas
That would be the safest bet but you may be able to get away with just flashing the modem. Make a nandroid and just try flashing the rom. If you don't have cell service, then try flashing the zv4/zv6 modem found in either the zv8 thread or the barepop thread.

New Updates

Will there be any further 4.4.4 rom updates? I wanna go back &&stick with 4.4.4. Not a lot of support for it since Lollipop was released.

The source code is pretty much done with because team liquid(and everyone else) moved onto lollipop. I was thinking of doing some minor additions to my 4.4 builds but really I'm waiting until we figure out NFC and complete Bluetooth. At the very least once we have some solutions in regards to that I'll rebuild all of my 4.4 Roms so everything is working.
Was there something in particular you want added?

I have been stricken with the wifi issues some have been having with the G3. Device will connect to wifi, within 2 to 5 minutes it loses its connection. When it loses its connection under IP address it says unavailable. Its a real pain in the a$$. I flashed this rom & in the past 45 minutes its dropped once, reboot & it connected. So I'm gonna run this & see how things go.

Even after a reboot it reconnects no problem, that never happened in the last couple of weeks weather on stock, 6.0.1, 5.1.1

Maybe it's not my router.... Hadn't had much issue, and brushed it off as "time for a new router".. Hadn't read about any wifi issues, so thanks for the heads up @aheeejd
Just to let you know, I've restored with tot & lg flashtool to stock unrooted. Did several factory date resets via stock recovery & a couple hard resets with hardware buttons. Even took 3 or 4 ota's from zv4 up to zva & I'm still dropping wifi. I'm convinced its hardware issue

I have to agree!! New Linksys WRT1200AC and doesn't matter what rom I run, I drop to LTE and find my chip has completely disconnected itself. Already did a thermal mod because of overheating and I'm about to go back to a Sammy S7 Edge..

For what its worth, I did not have insurance on my g3, but after trying everything I could come up with to try, & having no luck, I called Sprint to see if I could get anywhere. I called, explained my issue & the Sprint tech said it sounded like my antenna crapped out. Said "why don't we insure your phone so you can take it in for repair or get new one". I even asked " you mean insure it now, & I can get fixed or replaced & then I can cancel insurance ". Tech said " absolutely, you can drop it at anytime".
I thought that was pretty good of them. Got phone replaced & the rest is history.
