Trying out this ROM and I can say that it's a wonderful rom. Really smooth and fast.

Still finding my way through stuff as I came from Carbon and CM11.
Couple of questions:
How is it that root access is being questioned in the following apps? (Titanium backup says it may not work with some apps 4.3+; Lucky patcher says it's invalid or something like that.) Installing SuperSU seems to be a solution for this.
The new CM11 theme engine is incorporated in this, yes? How is it that I am unable to change themes on the fly? By on the fly I mean being able to change and seeing he changes right away. In Liquidsmooth I still had to reboot to see complete changes like navbars and such.

Otherwise great work for bringing this to us and to top it all off, it's already a milestone release.

Am not too sure about themes because it works perfectly for me. Its not different. Did you full wipe coming from another ROM? That could be the issue.

It relation to root am not too sure as well as I had that issue am guessing it don't installed properly. I will get the setup later. Its only a milestone because that's where the current release is at [emoji12].

I see. Perhaps it's because I've tried whilst the system was first run. Not that much of a deal breaker for me though
Right now just uncovered that the swipe aosp is not working for me, it results in an fc.

Really nice rom, i don't know if it feels like water, but it is smooth indeed :D

I just noticed one problem, concerning Viper4android.
I just can't install drivers, it teels me there's a problem with busybox, i tried different busybox installers (including stericson) and no way to make it work.

Other than that, it is just awesome.
And the kernel is working great too, dt2w and so on.

Thank you for sharing your work :good:

Excellent rom, great work friend , but I have some drawbacks:

1. long lag in the browser
2.- much lag in the gallery
3.- I can not install Viper , I have some sort of error with busybox or root
4. the phone hangs and you need to restart

Rest all good, keep up the good work

For those (like me) having some troubles with viper4android, it seems like the problem comes from super user app, installing supersu resolved all my problems.

well no lag here...

one thing that annoys me though, but it is somehow a problem with all custom rom´s except cm11 official... the multi-task button responses very randomly... sometimes in-time, sometimes it needs a sec to load...
edit: changing to slim recents panel fixed it for me :)

thanks J0kker, viper4android works for me now :)

I wonder what i did, but since yesterday, it seems that my phone is stuck at max frequency (1190 mhz).
Switching governors has no effect, enabling eco mod result in two active cores, but still at 1190 mhz (or offline).
I was playing around in notifications area, with active display, halo and so on... i've desactivated all of those but still, my cpu won't go under max frequency.
And of course, i tried modifying min freq with no result.
I'll try to reflash rom with keeping data to see if it can help... (it is a clean install).
Still, this rom feel so smooth, i love it.

chrome such in floatng window

I tested out the floating window option. Just as i have on carbon and the same thing happens even after you check the floating window option off. The chrome app wont open normally. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have read his problem on other roms and devices but haven't found a fix.

This is the first ROM I've installed on my Peregrine, and I am very impressed by it. It runs even smoother than the CM11 ROM on my Nexus 7 (2013)! :good:

Downloading it right now, mostly to see it in comparison to AOKP, as on my old device liquidsmooth was always a little bit faster and smoother and lasted longer.

The organisation in drawers (KK) makes me hope for continued support on lollipop?

Well I can say they have been working on one for a while since lollipop was released. I will be building one for us when I can [emoji2].

Am going to be releasing another build hopefully today at some point to fix superuser and remove the so called"optimisations" that make it faster because so the opposite is true. As with building the ROM normally it feels as fast as CM compared to all the junk which resulted in numerous random slowdowns and freezes.

Sure. Tumblr, Google Keep (or Notes, what they call it now) and even Tapatalk do not scroll smoothly, unfortunately. It is worst with Keep.
The rest is all awesome
Looking forward to your new build :)

Uuuh and how can I keep Chrome from opening in floating mode????

Not sure sorry. From what I experienced blacklisting doesn't work but I recall it being fixed by Google in the new chrome beta build. You can get the apk on android police.com
