Installation instructions
Installing Mahdi-Rom for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project - WITH SELINUX SUPPORT!
- Copy GApps and ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash Mahdi-Rom zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!

Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Copy the ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash the ROM zip from SDCard
- Reboot

Yep, we are still working on that, had some server issues we are working out and will get that changelog going soon, until then consider it a scavenger hunt

Nope and neither do USB audio and smart cover, with these functional this would be the perfect kitkat ROM (as far as I know these only work on the stock ROM and presumably Malladus).

Someone must approve first that these functionalities work on the google play edition. If not, the aosp code is lacking code in general and we wont be able to have miracast. But due to the fact that google is promoting miracast it should somehow be there. Still, we need confirmation!

what? weird.. where did you drop the new rom? internal memory? have you tried reformatting sd card?

How does it work? Can you tell me...

It is one of the default supported gesture options. I don't have it in front of me right now, but under the Nova settings, select the Gestures option and change the "on double tap" config to "lock screen." This will only work when you are on the home screen since this is only a Nova Launcher option, but it still comes in handy.
