Great Rom

First of all.... Great Rom! Thx for all the hard work!

But maybe I found a bug in the DSP manager, when I use Google Play Music everything is working fine.
But when I use TuneIn Pro the DSp isn't working anymore? Same thing for 8Tracks......

I stream with BT on a BB Music gateway. I'll need to do further testing and give this post a edit when something new pops up.

But just to be curious, somebody experienced the same problem yet or am I the lucky one?

No Root Access?

I've just flashed the ROM, the latest build (3rd Feb from the site) and it installed great, WiFi seems to be working very well. However, I have no root access at all. Really unsure why, too. I did a fullwipe, flashed the ROM, then recommend GAPPS and when I went to use TiBu it couldn't get root. So I thought I'd have a look in the settings and they seem fine to me, so then I installed SuperSU, which didn't help at all, couldn't even update the binary.

Then I flashed a SuperSU ZIP and even the included SuperSU app tells me there's no binary? I've fixed permissions etc etc, so can anyone help me with this? Thanks, really liking the look of this ROM! Just need root to get my apps back :)

Thanks,

Tom.

You could try rolling back to a nandroid and then dirty flash mahdi rom.
Obviously a backup of an earlier mahdi would be preferable or maybe cm (mahdi now based on cm)
The only thing to worry about is that you may end up in a boot loop.

you must flash after Rom install, the SuperSu.zip in Recovery. ;)

you can download it here from the SuuperSu thread. ;)

Thanks to Aeroman! I am not sure what happened but, I downloaded the latest SuperSU ZIP, and flashed it in recovery after the ROM and GApps and everything is fine where root is concerned.

My next thing is, how can I change lcd density in the ZIP? I tried editing the build.prop but that hasn't seem to have done it. As nice as 270 looks, I don't want to be dealing with any issues from the market and 320 looks good to me anyway.

Thanks,

Tom.

It backs up your current dpi before flashing. So even if you change the zip, it will still pull your current dpi on a dirty flash.

Change it in system/build.prop after flash

In this rom is Superuser (dont sure) :) integrated, You installed now SuperSu & updated your Su binaries, glad if works, here works fine too. ;)

to your other question...

Build.Prop should right for change the dpi, dont know why not works.

try AppSettings from Xposed, so you can change every dpi for whole installed Apps. ;)

I've found that on at least the last couple of releases, when I go to change the notification sound in settings that it won't play the previews (won't play them in the GApps email app either), although it does actually save the new setting. If I try to change the "on charger" sound, when I hit the OK button it tells that Settings has stopped working and restarts settings. I though it might be my device, so I flashed a few other ROMs and recovery images. The sound settings work in stock, CM11, and PA but not Mahdi. I've verified that the files are present and can be played, just not in the settings manager. Love the ROM though, its definitely the best out for the G Pad!

I have latest twrp installed and flashed PA all working good. Now flashed an experimental version of PA and stuck on boot logo. I followed the steps in to enter recovery and at the factory reset screen. When I press up and up, nothing happens
