loved this Rom...it was my daily driver after hearing how crap the sound and how horrible the gamma was on the original Rom. The only thing I missed was the QRemote application. Now theres a Kitkat rom available, any chance of getting the qremote from it working on Mahdi?

There's a better alternative:

HTC SenseTV

Says it's compatible with only my LG G Pad (with the Mahdi rom), so worth giving it a try.

Actually tried it now, doesn't work, but HTC says that there apps will eventually be working with all non-HTC devices

Hopefully one day LG will follow suit and put there dedicated apps on the play store like Motorola and HTC.

Already implemented, should work near the centre of the screen.

You must activate it in Rom Settings (StatusBar).

The dyn.R4 Kernel supports IT too.

Did anyone try androids device encryption with this rom? I am currently on cm11-m4 and wifi is broken if you enable device encryption.
Does this rom have the possibilty to also encrypt external sd card (by default only data-partition is encrypted)?

I have only one problem with my Micro TV Tuner http://www.elgato.com/en/eyetv/eyetv-micro With the stock rom, the TV Stick work fine, but not with Mahdi Rom. In the Play Store, the EyeTV Micro app is incompatible. I change the dpi in the build.prop to 320 and also the regional code to GB, but no luck. Can somebody to explain why?

Two things I've found. If you make a folder of apps on your home screen some times when you click on it it opens but it's all greyed out and transparent so have to click off it on back on. Very annoying.

Secondly double tap off works but can't double tap to wake. Actually a side issue when I open my smart case it turns g pad on but takes me to lock screen. Anyway to avoid this?

Yeh that happens sometimes, to fix it you will need Xposed app installed. Once you've set that up, get yourself the All apps in Play Store module and that will make virtually all apps compatible with your device without the need to change your dpi.

Not sure about the folder grey background, if you use a custom launcher (e.g Nova) you can change the background colour and transparancy of the folder open background.

Double tap to wake should work, it's double tap to sleep doesn't. As an alternative, there's double tap status bar to sleep:

Go to Settings > Customisation > Status bar > Tick "Double tap to sleep"

Yes you can avoid unlock to go to lock screen; you'll need to enable a Quick Setting first:

Go to Settings > Customisation > Quick settings panel > Tiles and layout > Tap "+" and add "Lock screen"
Once you done that, pull down the Quick Settings toggle (top right) and tap the "Lock Screen" tile so it's greyed out, ie it's not enabled.
Give it a try with your smart cover and that will work a treat for you.

Yes and no. It doesn't work if you stick in an SD card for the pad to recognise. But what you can do is format your sd card for an app to do it:

Follow these instructions carefully - Prep SD Card for moving apps
Make sure to only take a maximum of 20% of the SD Card as a partition, e.g. 32GB should have max 6GB for partition, keeps the sd card from failing.
Once you've done that, follow these steps to Link the apps to sd card - How to use Link2SD

In first, congrats and thanks for the rom. Works perpectly here.

Now a issue, but not a rom issue, but device issue:

I try use a hard drive WD My Passport 1Tb with a USB OTG cable, but doesn't work.
In my Moto G XT1033, Kit Kat, unroot, works perfectly.
I already try the stock, CM11, CM11 Infected, ParanoidAndroid and Madhi (including with dyn kernel), but nothing.
I already try another hard drive, with a external power source, and nothing.

Looking the dmesg log, I found this:

Well after read u. I make one test here with one Seagate 500g hard drive and g pad see hd I can open hd but disconnect alone hd. Maybe this is cuz current energy in Port USB not maintain one hd?

I found a bug with pairing bluetooth devices. It seems that every V500 ROM has this bug, because it happened with Dirty Unicorns as well.

Here my the description:
When I have paired my keyboard, it is listed under "paired devices". To connect it again you have to push on the name of the device. But whenever I try this, nothing happens.
On CM11 of my phone this reconnect works flawless.
The only workaround for now is to unpair the device and to pair it again.

Is CM11 the source of Mahdi ROM, so it would be better to ask there or am I right here?

few things ive noticed with 3/26.

1. halo floating notifications is gone

2. kernel tweaker app has replaced settings --> performance tabs

3. settings --> customize has been reorganized.

Is #2 because i had kernel tweaker installed before update? cant say i mind as performance tab is virtually worthless with default kernel anyway.

wonder why Halo was removed...
