Hey,

I did this to fix the sensors, and all seems to have worked, but for the proximity sensor. It still shows that there is none available. I am wondering if that is why the cover is not working. I also am trying to use Gravity Screen and it won't work because there is technically no sensor. Anyone find a way to fix this?
I have no clue. But I noticed knock on to wake the screen works for some reason.

Any Chance the smart cover will work in future updates?
As I've just received my case, can I add to the request. Also can USB audio and screen cast be made to work (I can't get either working)?

Apart from those little points this seems the best function, smoothest, just enough useful features, ROM yet (I've tried them all so far).

First custom rom I've tried and everything seems to be running great so far. I'll post up if I run into anything. Thanks for your work!

ps.. I had to reboot once before Apex would auto-rotate, if anyone's having that issue..

I love this ROM however I seem to be struggling with a full day of light use maybe 2 hours of internet and fb use. Just while typing this I lost 4%. Auto screen brightness WiFi on and GPS off. Other than that it works great thank you for this ROM.

Hello and a happ new year from Germany.
I've tested your ROM.
I still have the Issue that the performance is poor (Quadrant says something about 6000 points (stoch is on 12000)).
RomToolBox pro reports that 2 Cores are offline.
My best regards!

(P.S.: I've also tested SlimKat beta, and Malladus 1.2.4, they are having some serious issues too...)

I popped quadrant on my tablet as I'm running cm11, so I figured it would be nice to get an overall picture of the various roms.
I tried a few runs with a few different tweaks, but unlike my low end phone they didn't make much of a difference.
My scores ranged from 10500ish to just under 10800,so really not much variance.
I've got a PA rom and one of this backed up so I'll try to run some benches of them this evening so we can get an overall picture.
Would be good if a few others tried too.
Btw I ran antututututu the other day and got 27100ish with cm11 *

I only get 7000 points on CM11 with Quadrant Standard.
Just ran quadrant on both mahdi rom and PA.
Mahdi I get 9990+to 10100 and PA around the 10500 to10600 mark.
I imagine mahdi is slower as it has quite a few extras in it as std.
cm11 *due to technical issues :p
Xda app not letting me add pics at.

**edit 2
I've worked out what the discrepancies with some of your scores and mine and I hope would guess the stock LG rom too.
I just updated my PA rom and ran a few quadrant tests after. I was surprised to see scores around the 8k mark.
I then flashed the bionic and dalvik updates from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2546120
My very first run was back up to 10.5k.
You can bet that LG already has these tweaks in its stock rom.
I will when I can flash just one mod at the time to see if it's just one or both that are boosting the benches (it's always felt smoother /quicker subjectivly since I first tried the tweak but I've never bothered testing till now)

I was having the same problem. This what I did to get the battey to perform much better.

1. Install Greenify and auto hibernate all apps.
2 .If not using GEL then Freeze the app via TB.
3 .Change location services to "Low battery use".
4. Since the Auto Shut off does not work with my case then I set the screen "Sleep" to 2min.

With these changes Im seeing much bettery life but via GSam Battery Monitor Pro I still see battery drain at the rate above 5% an hour with the screen off but the onscreen battery drain issue has been severely reduced.

Im now attempting to use SetCPU to limit the CPU speed btw 500 - 700mhz when the screen is off. My initial results show the "Screen Off Battery" use drop to less than 1% a hour from 5% an hour but the tablet became unresponsive twice in 4 days requiring a reset..

From what I can figure out, LG's Power Save function is basically what im trying to emulate via SetCPU.

Good luck.

FOr me simply using greenify and sleeping all apps that I dont want notifications from and disabling google now from the GEL settings did the trick(I didn't have to uninstall), I went 10 hours and only lost 1%, I am very happy

Could you please enlighten me? What serious issues did you discover with the latest Malladus build? I'm running it with no noticeable issues. It's smoother, quicker and leaner than stock yet remains compatible with XBMC, which no other custom rom is.

I've given up on SetCpu due to it casing the tablet not to wake up.

I've gone ahead and greenfield all apps and disabled Google Now with location services but continue to see huge battery loss while the screen is off.

I'm now attempting to used the power save function in the performance section of settings.

Don't forget to go into advanced WiFi settings and set WiFi off during sleep.

I'm afraid to update. My G Pad is running flawlessly. I seriously don't know how it could be any better.
I feel (mostly) the same way. As silly as it sounds, would really love smart cover functionality now that I own the case.
